A must when it Buffalo for a football weekend. Great place. Hot dogs are cooked over charcoal and are fresh, tasty and loaded with whatever toppings you want. And go with Fries and Rings. Can’t get enough of them.

For 6$ per hot dog, you should really take time to pay attention to the customers request and carefully open buns, not tare them apart. Your food is delicious and I love that you use an actual grill, but the attempts to include a tablet for ordering is pushing this 20 year customer away. Be forewarned don’t lose your customer oriented, personable attributes. Your prices have found my absolute highest inflection point. Anymore increase in prices and I am gone.

I don’t really go to Ted’s too often, but my son was in the mood for it and it was on the way home.

This is the second time we’ve been here since they put in the ordering kiosks – and this whole process is somehow less efficient than having people talking over a smoking grill and telling the cook what they want on their hot dogs.

Just a huge line of people standing around waiting for food now… and efficiencies are down significantly.

I am typically all for order kiosks etc but this sucks.

Also… it’s pretty dirty and gross in here.

Edit: and our fries are cold but the counter is too full of angry patrons to bother getting them replaced.

I’m pretty sure Mr.Ted – if he were a real person and still alive – would be pretty mad about whatever is going on here.

So as a Buffalo native, I was very excited to go to Ted’s. I arrived and was very disappointed. The original ordering system was discontinued. I walked up since the separator was still there and then a worked rudely told me to order at the tablet. So I walked over to do that. When ordering it said to insert a pager number. I looked around dumbfounded trying to find a pager. There were no around. I then stood there and tried to get an employees attention. It seemed like they did not want to talk to me. I finally acquired a pager once I spoke up. After that, I sat down waiting for my pager to buzz. It never buzzed but my food was ready. Odd. Then I sat down excited to eat my food. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was very overcooked. The onion rings were not cooked and cold and my fries were cooked so much there was nothing inside. In conclusion, Ted’s used to be a great spot. I used to go there all the time since it was a delicious Buffalo Icon. Just wish it would go back to how it was.

Just came in to order 3 hotdogs and a fry. They had about 20 orders backed up but for some reason decided to keep taking orders at the grill ahead of their kiosk orders. All the orders were sitting there unworked on. Waited an HOUR after told it would be a 15 min wait. Went up to ask where my order was and the orders were still untouched was told by a different person it was going to be an additional hour and a half but they kept working on new people coming in through the grill line. Half of their workers were ran by young kids messing around getting drinks for themselves talking about how it’s so busy through the dining room instead of actually working on orders. Extremely disappointed. Become more organized.

It was a slow night when I went I no one was in line I ordered a double hamburger French fries and a milk shake. I watched as the line cook took old French fries that had been sitting there cooked and put them back into the deep fryer. I should have said something but didn’t. They gave me my food the rest was fine but the refried French fries were horrible. Bottom line they didn’t want to waste an old order of French fries and refried them. Very bad customer service and food handling PS I have been coming to Ted’s for decades

It was fantastic it was our first time. You can order at the grill or use the kiosk. Food was excellent fun to watch it happening right there the guy putting the hot dogs together was so intriguing he took so much pride with the toppings. Will be back.

The prices have become absolutely outrageous and the portions have become smaller. $11.48 for a veggie cheeseburger? The double cheese burger cost less than that. It didn’t even taste good. They use Impossible burgers, not homemade, so not sure why it was so bad. The meal for 3 people cost $70. You can go to a sit down restaurant for that.

The fries come in a small cup and were cold. The amount of fries was laughable. The malted milkshakes didn’t taste malted.

I get prices have gone up everywhere, but there is no reason to pay more but get worse quality/smaller portions.

I worked here in high school and this used to be a must visit when in Buffalo but I will not go back.

Could only order through an iPad and when older guests asked for help because it wasn’t making sense the women on the grill was short and rude.

Food was slow to come out but was just like I always remembered it. 5 food quality

This was our first but definitely not last visit to Ted’s. The food was delicious. Onion rings are more like deep-fried French onions, but they are yummy! The dining room needed some help like a good sweeping and wipe down of the tables while we were there. It was brisket but not busy with plenty of open seats.
