This is the 2nd time ordering salads for dinner , 1st my order was not filled correctly with extra dressing and was charged for it . Then had to drive back to pick up the missed dressing sense ya can’t eat salad dry .. disgusting.. so by the time my wife and I got back to eat my Krispy chicken was cold and hard from being over cooked and sitting for 30 min . The lettuce was gritty as if never washed were last time it was soaked to the point the container leaked all over . And the pita bread was stale .. by far the worst take out experience which caused me to review the issues. Unfortunately we have noticed sense “Ted” passed away the food quality whether dining in or picking up take out has fallen drastically. I hope someone in management or whoever took over the business finds a way to bring the quality back to the way it was when this location opened . Till then, we will dining and ordering take out elsewhere. And recommend others to do so as well.

After driving by a couple restaurants that were packed we stopped at Ted’s..never at this one. The place not packed..it was clean also. We got fish and chips also coneys. The fish was very good..no greasy. The clam chowder was kinda salty but good. Coneys as always were good..karleigh our server was excellent.

Been here 3 times inside and once thru the drive thru. The only reason atmosphere is 4 is because it was cold 2 out of 3 times inside. The staff were great, attentive without being overly in your face. The food has been great each time. Had a pickup order of fish and it was not soggy when I got it home. Would recommend this place to everyone who wants a good time with nice people and good food

02/21/24 Because it’s Ted’s we went in expecting great Coney’s. We were very disappointed.The dogs were not hot, the chili barely covered the dogs and the buns were hard on the ends (see pic). We didn’t send them back because……….When I paid I did mention it to a young man who acted like he was in charge and his response was he would “tell them in back about it”. Don’t know if we’ll try them again.

Came to pick up food I ordered 20 minutes prior and it wasn’t done. Took another 10 min wait to get to me. The hasbrowns were raw, scrambled eggs were burnt and bacon was barely cooked. Husband got coneys dogs and they were soggy and didn’t have anything on them but chili. The chili cheese fries had cheese but barely any chili.
I tried calling in and the place was closed. I definitely won’t be back. The cost of the food, there’s much better restaurants in the area. Definitely not worth it!

Everything about Ted’s is good. It’s a nice American Diner. The chili is Second To None. The eggs and breakfast is great! Never had a bad meal there. The wait staff are Pleasant friendly and their service is commendable

I take my mom here. Lots of elderly people and construction workers both. The waitresses are very sweet and friendly and patient. The food is good. It’s very clean and there’s huge windows to look out at the St Clair River. My mom’s favorite place to go.
