Reviews
As expected, it was busy, with both the bar area and dining room filled with guests. While waiting for our table, we ordered drinks at the bar. The bartender was attentive, and the beverages were well made.
Our wait wasn’t long before our table was ready. Once seated, our server continued the positive experience – attentive, engaging, and accommodating. I was interested in one of the specials, even though they were advertised as beginning at 4:00 p.m. The server kindly confirmed that I could still order my preferred selection.
Overall, the ambiance, food, and service were all excellent. We ordered dessert to go, which I later enjoyed, and it was just as good.
The host and waiters were super friendly, super nice. Thank you Mr. Mabi (Sorry I’m winging the spelling).
The restaurant was tidy and clean, unfortunately there was some sticky parts on our table, I’ll give them 7/10 on that.
Talking about the food: I ordered,
● Crispy Calamari: was dilecious but could be crispier.
● Ted’s Tomato Soup: dilecious, but also could be better.
● Stovetop Chili Soup: dilecious.
● Steak and Cheese Eggrolls: dilecious
● All American Burger: good but really heavy.
● Szechuan hot chicken sandwich: good but really heavy.
● Steak frites and NY strip: dilecious.
● Ragu Lasagna: was dilecious
Food quality was great, survise was really good. Thank you all.
Would I come back? Yes, I would.
We had a reservation for 8 (5 adults, 1 in a high chair and 2 other kids) at peak brunch time on Saturday.
My only complaint is their inflexible policy of not seating anyone until everyone has arrived. The host was not very nice about it and would not make an exception even tho it was clear that the kids needed to be seated as soon as possible. I mentioned this to the manager later in our visit and I felt he basically blew me off.
Our server- Keith- was fantastic. Quick, helpful, attentive, friendly. He checked back frequently to insure our orders were complete, to refill beverages, provide additional napkins and ketchup, etc. I could not ask for more from a server. The food runners and bus team also on the ball.
Food was good. Portions, temp, Seasonings, etc were all on point.
I probably would not go back because of seating policy and the host and manager attitude…. Especially i had a large party and kids.
UPDATE: ownership responded (below) but didn’t read or chose to ignore the critical parts of the review including saying I wouldn’t go back.
