Delicious brunch with great service. Instead of giving five stars, I’m giving 4 because even though we had a reservation, there was still a significant wait. They also didn’t serve any espresso, coffee only drip coffee, which is kind of a downer.

Last Saturday around noon, we were in the area trying to decide where to grab a bite. I’ve always enjoyed Ted’s Bulletin, so the choice was easy – especially since it was Valentine’s Day.

As expected, it was busy, with both the bar area and dining room filled with guests. While waiting for our table, we ordered drinks at the bar. The bartender was attentive, and the beverages were well made.

Our wait wasn’t long before our table was ready. Once seated, our server continued the positive experience – attentive, engaging, and accommodating. I was interested in one of the specials, even though they were advertised as beginning at 4:00 p.m. The server kindly confirmed that I could still order my preferred selection.

Overall, the ambiance, food, and service were all excellent. We ordered dessert to go, which I later enjoyed, and it was just as good.

Amazing Cinnamon Roll. We just stumbled upon this amazing restaurant and ended up coming here 3 days in a row. Their breakfast is great all around. If you’re lucky enough to visit when cinnamon rolls are being served order two 😉 they are huge and packed full of flavor, the amount of icing could be more but it’s truly delicious. They have a tasty bakery section and everything I tried was top notch. Service was fast and friendly. Their prices were good and huge portions. Overall if you’re looking for a great meal give them a try or two!

It was a pleasant experience, the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. I really recommend making a reservation.

The host and waiters were super friendly, super nice. Thank you Mr. Mabi (Sorry I’m winging the spelling).

The restaurant was tidy and clean, unfortunately there was some sticky parts on our table, I’ll give them 7/10 on that.

Talking about the food: I ordered,
● Crispy Calamari: was dilecious but could be crispier.
● Ted’s Tomato Soup: dilecious, but also could be better.
● Stovetop Chili Soup: dilecious.
● Steak and Cheese Eggrolls: dilecious
● All American Burger: good but really heavy.
● Szechuan hot chicken sandwich: good but really heavy.
● Steak frites and NY strip: dilecious.
● Ragu Lasagna: was dilecious

Food quality was great, survise was really good. Thank you all.

Would I come back? Yes, I would.

My mom and I stumbled upon this cozy pub and bakery that had an incredibly delicious chicken and truffle fry happy hour special which drew us in, and we were immediately met with top notch service provided by Valery, which put the cherry on top! Truly, the warmest care during service, you could tell Valery took pride in his work, and was engaging and attentive, crafting an incredible experience for us! Kind, caring service, with delicious food that I’ll dream about until my next venture back to DC! They took simple and made it exemplary!!

They do tack on 5% charge on your bill as permitted by the city for essentially added profit (separate from your tip still of course). Why don’t they just add that to the price of the food? Or how about they charge 1 dollar for all food then tack on a raw food surcharge, heating and cooling surcharge, cooking surcharge, kitchen to table delivery surcharge, cleaning surcharge. Anyway the food is pretty good but nothing special as brunches go. You’d be better off buying takeaway food from very nearby Trader Joe’s.

1st time at any Ted’s. Overall – good experience with a few issues.

We had a reservation for 8 (5 adults, 1 in a high chair and 2 other kids) at peak brunch time on Saturday.

My only complaint is their inflexible policy of not seating anyone until everyone has arrived. The host was not very nice about it and would not make an exception even tho it was clear that the kids needed to be seated as soon as possible. I mentioned this to the manager later in our visit and I felt he basically blew me off.

Our server- Keith- was fantastic. Quick, helpful, attentive, friendly. He checked back frequently to insure our orders were complete, to refill beverages, provide additional napkins and ketchup, etc. I could not ask for more from a server. The food runners and bus team also on the ball.

Food was good. Portions, temp, Seasonings, etc were all on point.

I probably would not go back because of seating policy and the host and manager attitude…. Especially i had a large party and kids.

UPDATE: ownership responded (below) but didn’t read or chose to ignore the critical parts of the review including saying I wouldn’t go back.

Can’t say about other locations but this location is great! The staff here have such good vibes, they made you feel welcomed! Food comes real fast despite the busy lunch hour. We enjoyed our food a lot. Ordered some tarts to go, they are amazing!! Flaky texture and fruit stuffing are so good together. There’s a 5% surcharge, I hope the staff actually get the full amount! If they don’t, they totally deserve a raise!

Zach the ginger was a good server. The food was good, but not necessarily great. The gravy had a vinegar taste to it. Biscuits were amazing. Cheese grits. Nope. Stop making them. They taste weird. Prices were reasonable too.

I hit up Ted’s Bulletin in Washington DC for breakfast with Ben and had the pleasure of meeting our server Lana “Bannana”. I asked her to hook me up with the kitchen’s favorite dish, and boy did she deliver – a mouth-watering steak and eggs that’s to die for. The vibe here is super chill, like an old-school diner, and I highly recommend you swing by if you’re in the area. The manager even came out to thank us for stopping by and gave the steak and eggs his seal of approval – talk about a breakfast win!
