Y’all know how to consistently provide top quality smoked meats and for that reason you shall be named king of bbq in Huntsville, AL. Roll tide and keep smokin. Seriously, go check them out. I just want to take a minute to shout out Taylor at Ted’s BBQ. Every time I’ve come in, he’s been nothing but respectful, hardworking, and professional. You can tell he really cares about doing his job right and making sure customers have a good experience. He stays calm under pressure and still manages to be friendly and attentive.

been going to ted’s for a long time now, however, the quality of service has fallen off tremendously. consistently get the wrong food when going through to drive through. today ordered a turkey sandwich with no slaw, got it with slaw. Also ordered baked beans and mac and cheese and received baked beans and potato salad instead. this has happened the past several times i’ve gone through the drive through which may i add is also incredibly slow regardless of how busy they are.

I’m sorry I had to change my review experience. Teds was one of my favorite food places as of today im not so sure. Today I visited for lunch because of course it’s Brisket day it was so salty I had to spit it out, the Mac& cheese awful and bland, I had 2 big chunks of brisket that was tough. I bit the sandwich twice before deciding to throw it away. I know people have bad days but my last few visits weren’t good either. The tables hadn’t been cleaned so I sat on the patio. Ted’s 5 points is my favorite bbq place in Alabama. My favorite thing from there is the wings with a side of coleslaw. They also have really good baked potatoes, chicken sandwiches, cornbread, peach cobbler, banana pudding, baked beans, and chicken. The whole menu is delicious. Just start from the top and work your way down. You won’t be disappointed. The staff is polite and respectful and the atmosphere is always clean. I love it here!

Our group of four travel a lot and are passionate about our BBQ. We like to try every BBQ place we can and with years of tasting we can confidently say that the food we had at Ted’s Bar-B-Q on Friday, February 28, 2025 was the best we’ve had in many years.
The BBQ meat was tender and fulll of flavor. The buns held up beautifully and did not get soggy like so many we have encountered at other places.
What really took it to the next level was the homemade BBQ sauce. It was rich, flavorful, and with just the right balance of tang and sweetness. Even the French fries were expertly cooked crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside.
The Brunswick stew was really good, hearty, and full of flavor. The sweet tea was also very good, not too sweet but just perfect.
Portion sizes were generous but not overwhelming leaving us comfortably full without feeling stuffed.
The service was spot on, friendly and efficient. Wish I had taken a few more photos but there was a lot of people eating.
Our party all agree that Ted’s Bar-B-Q is a place we look forward to on our next visit to the area!

This is a solid bbq restaurant for the price. It is counter order that is a little nicer than most fast food. I always try bbq when I travel. There is a lot better bbq out there, but this was fine.
I had the 2 meat 2 side plate. I had chicken, sausage, mac-n-cheese, and coleslaw. Everything was good. I was disappointed that they don’t have brisket.
