This was our first time eating at Ted’s but it definitely won’t be our last. The service was great, the food was fantastic and that banana pudding was yummy!!!

Stopped in for some BBQ and it was good. The fries were great. Mild BBQ sauce was tasty. Quick in and out. Plenty of seating.

I was hungry, never tried this place before. Average bbq. The pull pork sandwich wasn’t dry which was good but super salty, mac and cheese no flavor at all just tasted like boxed noodles with velveeta cheese, potato salad no flavor just average.

We visited today (2/14/26 08:42 AM) and were very disappointed. To start on a positive note, the original order taker was extremely nice, pleasant, and helpful. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the experience.

After eating, we planned to grab coffee refills and sit for a bit. Since the first employee was so kind, we decided to bus our own trays. However, there were no signs indicating where trays should go, and nothing suggested this was a self-serve establishment. We placed them on a nearby counter, assuming that was correct.

Almost immediately, a young man came out and barked, in a curt and disrespectful tone, “The trays go over there.” The entire group was confused. The situation could have easily been handled in a more professional and courteous manner.

As for the food — it was barely passable. The eggs tasted powdered, the sausage and gravy were lukewarm, and the biscuits were hard. While there aren’t many breakfast options in the area, even though your potatoes and cheese were AWESOME, this is not one we’ll return to in the near future. I am not asking to have rose petals thrown at my feet but certainly I refuse to be barked at by some snot nosed teenager.

Stick to what you barely know how to do and breakfast is not one of them. Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me. I for one won’t be back.

Notice – Brisket only offered on Wednesdays. I ultimately chose this place because it was one of the few that offered brisket on their menu. The pork was decent, a little mushy (over pulled) and a little over salted. Chicken didn’t get a good crust on it (soft skin), but the seasonings were tasty. Cole slaw and potato salad were seasoned very well and paired well with the meat items. Side wings were OK – only flavor option is sweet honey glaze. $5 side salad is definitely not worth the price, only iceberg and small, but they used good/real bacon on top. Side corn bread was decent.
Crew is friendly, but nonchalant in delivery/service. Missed getting my pork on my plate and I had to request the miss be fixed, but they gave me a little extra.
Place was generally clean, with some dirty tables just hanging out.

5/2025 Update:
They are still a great place for some local BBQ. You get lots of food and it’s delicious. Also, glad I tried their tamales! Very good!

I’ve been here for breakfast and dinner. For breakfast I ordered the crispy chicken super bowl which consists of eggs, cheezy browns, bell peppers & gravy, to go and it was delicious. It was a great breakfast and I definitely had to eat it on a plate when I got home. That little container was stuffed with the good stuff.

The last time I went, I picked up dinner to go. They were out of the pork so I opted for the smoked turkey combo. Combo comes with one or two (for $1 more) sides and I got the mac & cheese and potato salad. Both were really good.

The service is friendly and good. The food (breakfast & dinner) is good. The prices are good. Great local BBQ. If you haven’t given them a try, you need too.

The person taking my order was very knowledgeable and friendly. Having never been here before, I asked what was good. He went through the menu and was nice about. He told me about the wings and how they were just voted the best in the Tennessee Rive Valley. I completely understand why, they wing were absolutely amazing. The flavor was great and plenty of meat. I also took some ribs home for my family to try as we like BBQ food. Very good place. Would love one in Pennsylvania.

Counter service was good. Puck to alert you to pick up your food at the window. Food was ready quickly.
Ribs were meh, over cooked and low on flavor. Spicy barbecue sauce was not very spicy but had good flavor. Can’t imagine how much milder the mild can be. Nice dining room with plenty of seating to hang out in.

As a BBQ place, this is a top contender and must be top in the area. Of course I went for the “on Wednesday only” brisket. Not just flavored; packed with flavor. The macaroni cheese was so much cheddar it was almost a brick of cheese. The potato salad had an absolutely great flavor and is at the top among potato salads. The banana pudding was thick and deep with flavor. In short, absolutely to the wall with taste across the board.
