I was surprised when walking in at how nice the establishment was; staff was kind and attentive. The food was amazing (chicken dinner was the best) and they had a nice outdoor seating with lights hung up. Thanks for helping us celebrate my boyfriends birthday, we definitely enjoyed our dinner, drinks and dessert!

My first time visiting TED’S. It was a Wednesday evening and was not crowded. Nicely redone. Lots of choices for every taste on the menu. The food was very good.

Went there for company Xmas party, & this was my 1st time. The food was amazing.. I had the lobster Mac & cheese.. had some left over & heated up the next day. It was still so creamy. Fellow coworkers had the same & a few of the burger options. My hubby had the sirloin, which was cooked to perfection. Everything was great.. My only issue, not about the food, was we were in a room but the layout was not cohesive for trying to talk to people across the room. We will be coming back.

This is a decent place to go in Spring Lake (not too far from I-96). Bar side and restaurant side (both nicely updated; bar side has TVs). Menu has a fairly large selection with gluten free or vegetarian options. Party tried salads; both of which were very large portions and tasty. Service was just OK (nothing exceptional). It’s a Plus that they have Coke products.

We test drove a car and saw this place Teds and thought to try. Nice atmosphere. Our server was ok. I odered a wet burrito with no onions and the mac n cheese. The burrito looked great.. it was just warm and it came with onions. It was not spicy and kind of bland. It looked better than tasted. Mac and cheese was a generous serving but tasted pretty basic and nothing fancy at all.. kraft almost as good.

Got the western burger and the Mac and cheese burger cooked medium (usually order medium well but read reviews). Western burger was amazing. Waitress was nice but extremely cold in the restaurant. Thermostat said 60°. I asked if it was always that cold in there and they said they don’t use the heat… Had a small space heater that they put by our table that helped a tad. But maybe bring a coat and layer up.

A little disappointed about our experience. Sat down for dinner ordered michigan mules, which are great. Next we got our waters. Waters tasted really bad. Not sure what is up with that. We ordered a app, the “Seared Ahi Tuna”. It was the most over-cooked Ahi Tuna ever. We came here with the thought of having fish for the entrees as well. Just kinda tuned us off, we didnt really want over cooked salmon as well. We ended up leaving, which took forever becuase the server was non existent…we didnt even get a chance to order our meals, or complain about the Ahi Tuna. I had to get the host to get the check for us 30 min later.

Prices are a bit on the high side but the food is more than worth it. Everything was delicious. But the service? It literally could not be better. We had Taryn and she is an absolute delight of hospitality. If you’re heading in you won’t regret requesting her section. It is so heartwarming to see not everyone has given up on good customer service. Well worth the cost if you ask me.

Great food! Great service! Ted himself came out to greet us and thank us as we were leaving. Asked us what brought us to the area since we are visiting from out of state. That was a cool surprise that he would take the time to do that even though he was covering and manning the kitchen cause one of his cooks couldn’t make it in. If you’ve never been, don’t let the subtle outside fool you, it’s really nice inside!
