Love a mom and pop style diner and this did not disappoint.
Def has a 50’s vibe! Friendly and welcoming staff right at the front door. Menu was simple. Front and back.
The pancakes were amazing! Also got the Butcher omelette. It was perfect! Those hash browns were really good too! It was so good we went back a second day and got some more delicious eats!

We’ve loved in itasca almost 3 years and finally gave this a try! Walked in and I immediately regretted not going in sooner.. total 50s diner vibe, loved the counter seating! It wasn’t packed, maybe 4 tables only but it was bustling somehow! Servers talk loud, move fast, and it’s super casual which I appreciate!
Food- I was pleasantly surprised by my Benedict! The hollandaise didn’t taste like a 100% legit hollandaise but it hit the spot! Eggs cooked perfect, hasbrowns were delish
The pancakes were wonderful and Fluffy and buttermilky!
Sign says freshly squeezed oj it definitely was not.. only negative I have!
We will definitely be going back!!

We have been coming here for YEARS & absolutely loved this place. The woman who owns it is absolutely incredible. She sits down with us, brings the kids balloons, etc. Today a man who I guess is her husband was running the place & hopefully that never happens again. We ordered Togo, they completely butchered it of course. I figured we would just get a refund (after bringing all food back, uneaten) and then we would try again another time. My wife gets all the way there and they outright tried to refuse to give a refund stating they “didn’t know how” then it was they don’t do it.. then they could only give me a gift certificate excuse after excuse. Finally after the back n forth they did it in about 2 seconds which tells me they knew how the whole time & were choosing not to. This place with the woman who owns it there is the best in the world.. second to none, but without her..it’s worse than McDonald’s. Never again.

What an amazing place! Everything was just awesome. The soup taste was like my grandmother used to make and the sandwich freshly made. This would be my fav. place to go if I lived around.
