We had the Tacos (various meats), chicken Quesadilla and Nachos (pictured) couldn’t recommend the food more highly cooked fresh while we waited!
Had their pastor, Asada, carnitas, and their papas.
So good. Street style. Their sauces are delicious, if not hot enough. Chill atmosphere inside and they had aguas frescas too.
Their avocado sauce was dope.
But the real star here? The specialty tacos. Hands down, some of the best in Southern California. They’re packed with flavor, made with care, and honestly set a new standard for what tacos should taste like. The quality is consistent, and no matter what you order, you’re going to be impressed.
On top of that, the pricing is unbeatable for SoCal. You get top-tier food and an atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back without breaking the bank. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and the vibe, but this restaurant does it effortlessly.
If you’re looking for a spot that combines amazing food, unbeatable tacos, and an always-fun atmosphere, this is it.
All the recipes are family originals. The menu has many combinations available. They have specials available daily. They have a selection of draught beers and NA beverages.
Plenty of seating in an open layout with counter seating near the kitchen.
Customers include PCC students and neighborhood and business folks.
Teddy’s has become a destination because of the quality of food and service.
I enjoy the street tacos, maximo quesadilla, and carne asada or chicken burrito. The flavors are bright with just enough spice. They offer a selection of salsas.
PS, order the warm chips with guacamole.
After seeing the high rating for this place we were sold, so popped in for a quick bite and man oh man was it worth it! If I could give this place a sixth star I would.
We found street parking right in front of the establishment. As soon as we entered we realized we arrived at an excellent time. Definitely before the dinner rush.
We ordered a Shrimp salad, a carne asada taco, and a tostada. Everything was excellent! Especially thr shrimp which was seaoned very light, which was confident and delightful. The shrimp was also so well cooked! Very tender and scrumptious. The taco bowl to the salad was SO nice! It is more like a filo pastry dough, which was so light and crip. A perfect pair to the salad. I was able to eat the entire thing without feeling overly full.
The carne asada was some of the best I’ve ever had. The taste was a little brighter and more exciting than other tacos I’ve tasted. I’m guessing it’s a combination of the marinade and the way it’s cooked & served hot and fresh! The meat is just savory and addictive.
We also ordered a hibiscus and classic margaritas, served with chamoy on the rim. The margaritas are pre-made but so refreshing. We could have stayed for two, but one each was enough.
10/10
We can’t wait to go back!
