This is the best place! You need to try it.
We had a 2 meat plate with brisket and pork ribs. Omg it was awesome. The brisket was my favorite and my girl loved the ribs.
Next time I’ll try the pulled pork, I’m sure it’s awesome.
The sides are also super good. It was the best Mac n cheese I’ve ever tried, the brocoli salad was awesome and even the pickles were super tasty.
This is definitely a place you’ll try and come back. God bless the hands of the people that work here, they’re super friendly and prepare awesome food.

GW’s who???!!! Friday night and we left Harlingen in search of good food in Weslaco. It was 7pm and we knew we were cutting it close to Teddy’s 8pm closing time but we’re glad we took a chance! WONDERFUL customer service and INCREDIBLE bbq! The pork belly is heavenly!!! The moist brisket, like butta’!!! And the sides, especially the cream corn are delicious! They even make their own homemade bread!!! Worth the drive from any place in the valley! My pics don’t do the food justice! I was in such a hurry to eat, I couldn’t take a decent pic!

Tried Teddy’s for lunch today and everything was delicious. The restaurant is what you think of a small town bbq joint. The turkey was moist and flavourful. I especially enjoyed the broccoli salad.

I think i came on the wrong day at the wrong time…I understand its hard but i def will not return. I came on 9/14/25 @ around 2:30 pm..maybe thats why I didnt get the fresh or even semi freshly bbq’d meat. I paid almost $40 for a chicken plate with 2 sides a drink and 2 slices of brisket…my chicken was cold and very tough to bite in to. The service was good and the atmosphere was too although it was very tight. The cream corn was very delicious but the potato salad was not for me..

Teddy’s Barbecue is hands down one of the best barbecue spots in the entire RGV. The smell of the smoked meats hits you before you enter. Every single meat we tried (beef brisket/moist, chicken, sausage, turkey) was juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned – you can really taste the care and quality they put into their food. Their staff is also amazing; they’re so knowledgeable about the menu and provide excellent service with genuine hospitality.
The sides were just as impressive as the meats, especially the creamed corn – it was absolutely delicious and ended up being my favorite! If you’re looking for true Texas barbecue with top-tier service, Teddy’s Barbecue is the place to go. Highly recommended!

As soon as you drive into the parking lot the sweet aroma of smoke meat fills the air! I say there’s no better smell! Finally got to come in on a Thursday to try their chicken fried steak, nice and crispy, BIG, and peppery! Super delicious! Got the loaded mash and Mac n cheese which were also bomb! Nice crispy hot fries accompanied a super delicious smash burger! Also of course had to get some moist brisket to go into the beef fat tortillas they offer as well as a link of sausage that has a nice little kick! If you haven’t tried Teddys I reckon you should!

7•26•25 hadn’t been back in quite some time and let me tell you it never fails always exceeds expectations food is always on par, customer service friendly and pretty quick service. Thank you staff and Teddys this was My sister’s 1st time and she loved it to.

This place is no REGRETS AT ALL. the brisket very tender, sausage very flavorful, the chicken fried chicken man they ain’t playing that chicken was super juicy and moist I’m mad because I can’t get my chicken like that what’s your secret Teddy’s man amazing food, cooks, staff. Now let me tell you them Brussels sprouts are damn good if you don’t like Brussels sprouts. Trust me, you will… the Mac n cheese, it is the creamiest, cheesiest Mac n cheese. I can probably sit and eat it with a coca cola oh my goodness. They had run out of the mac n cheese guess cuz its that popular here, but i waited and waited and brought me a complimentary side of it. Wow. That’s all I can say. All sides are amazing, guys. Thank you for your hospitality staff gr-8 job.

We visited, and we’re so surprised and satisfied with the food. Best barbecue we’ve had. No wonder they are the top 50. We highly recommend it. We tried the moist brisket, pork belly sliced, jalapeno cheese sausage, sides creamed corn, loaded mashed potatoes, corn bread, and for dessert banana pudding delicious very light.
We will be back again. Hidden gem .
