Good news… the hush puppy appetizer was really good. Bad news… Drinks took 30mins to come out. Three Amigos cocktail; the bourbon was missing its other two friends of apple-brandy and spiced rum. Braised short-rib was under-seasoned, mash potatoes had several quarter size pieces, the sauce tasted of raw tomato paste. The plating of the dish is laughable along with with the lettuce garnish. No where near $38. Appreciate the waiter taking 40% off the check but that won’t get me to give this place another try.

First things first, the atmosphere was cozy and warm. It gave off the perfect calm, relaxing summer night vibes. I started with the Domain Fichet Chardonnay , it was smooth and very flavorful. Then I ordered the artichoke dip (which was bomb!) and it was the perfect appetizer choice. The portion size was also a good amount for two people.
For my entrée, I had the Ancho Chile Salmon. It was tender, fresh, and juicy, perfectly served on a layer of pea purée. The service was excellent as well. Definitely will visit again soon!

This is the worst Brunch place
ive ever tried! their coffee taste horrible
like taste sour,
their steak and eggs was serve Cold.
their chicken waffle taste really bad like maybe they use Old oil to fry/deep fry it
taste bad! and their french toast they over soaked it with Sauce or syrup. My whole experience sucks! maybe hire a better chef.

Love this place! The presentation of the huge thick pancake that had syrup around the edges was perfect and delicious! You could always ask for the syrup on the side, but it was the exact amount needed and it looked so good! There were four of us and the three year old ate the entire pancake with the exception of the two bites that I managed to get. The burger was perfectly seasoned and devoured and the MJ Salad with the shrimp was so good that I could eat it every day. The patio is charming and relaxing and the service was outstanding.

First time here and it was great. I was a little worried because it looked a little outdated and the bar area wasn’t the most attractive spot but all of my worries were for nothing. Got the Prime Rib Sandwich and it was awesome. Wish the bun was a little sturdier considering you dunk it in Au Jus but it was really, really good. My GF got the Crab tostada and that was decent but her Filet was cooked absolutely perfectly and had a nice chargrilled taste. It was comparable to a filet at Perry’s but about 10 dollars cheaper at $54. Bartender was very friendly, service overall was great, and I’d totally try it. They have a nice little outdoor area as well.

One of the reasons we came here is the website shows this huge French dip sandwich with roast beef hanging out the sides. Instead, it was like a Subway sandwich sliced 3 ways. It was good, but thin and carefully measured roast beef. Not New York style. Our server was excellent, until she disappeared. Our table wasn’t cleared and we had to track her down for our bill. The restaurant sat mostly empty and most were just having drinks. It is a great atmosphere, with cowboy boot mugs. It is pricy and loud even with a few people. We’ll be back to try the patio next time. For the prices, improve the entre portions or update your website.

I saw Teddy’s as a new restaurant in Austin and we wanted to give it a try. It’s in a great location off Kerbey lane and there’s decent parking although more than likely you’ll have to park on the street. We ordered the mango Chamoy margarita and the watermelon basil. We change from tequila to Mezcal and they were great! For main courses, we ordered the Midland dip and I thought it was great. It had a mix of sweet and spicy with a great flavor. We also ordered the special which was the cod dish and it was incredible. Probably the best meal at our table. What else stood out was the shoestring fries which are great. For the kids meals we ordered the salmon which was great with a nice and crispy on the outside and the cheese quesadilla were both really good. They have kid’s menus! The Beef carpaccio was good, but was too salty. The tuna ceviche however was excellent. As for the restaurant, it’s nice and clean and has a good layout with indoor and outdoor seating. There’s also a nice bar section where you can sit and they have a wide range of drinks and cocktails. The service was great and our server Henry was nice and provided some insights into the food. Overall, we were placed with our experience and would recommend this place to others.

Wow our first time at Teddy’s was on New Year’s Eve – what a gem in Central Austin!!!!! WONDERFUL atmosphere, food and service!! Catherine was our server and she took amazing care of our table! We started with ceviche and oysters. The “beer in a boot” was a big hit with our young adult son and Catherine recommended a fabulous Pinot Noir that I had never tasted before that paired beautifully with my meal. Our table enjoyed the Prime Rib, the Redfish, King Ranch Casserole (in cast iron) and Brussel Sprouts. It wasn’t easy to make selections as everything on the menu sounds fabulous!!!!! We loved the Central location of Teddy’s and all of the staff was so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend! Thank you, Teddy’s!

We had a really enjoyable dinner at Teddy’s. The restaurant is easy to find, with convenient parking, and we loved the outdoor seating – it created a lovely, relaxed vibe.

The service was excellent. Our server, Matt, was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and he had a great friendly demeanor and fun personality. We started with cocktails, and the ‘No More Mr. Nice Pie’ was a definite highlight. It’s a unique take on an Old Fashioned, with Four Roses bourbon, brown butter, and pecan syrup, and it was absolutely delicious.

For dinner, I highly recommend the Midland Dip. The shaved prime rib sandwich on a jalapeño cheddar bun, with the pepper jelly au jus and creamy horseradish, was fantastic. The prime rib was tender and flavorful, and the combination of flavors was spot-on, one of the best I’ve eaten. The crispy fries that came with it were also a great addition.

Teddy’s offers a nice, upscale feel with really good food and service. It’s a great spot for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. We’ll definitely be back!
