Eggrolls with some spicy mustard. Perfect combo.
Crab Rangoon. It was so good.
We ordered lots of dumplings (combo, mushroom truffle lamb, etc. I can’t remember them all but all were great.)
We also got the Texas beef broccoli and the beef with long peppers (spicy but good).
We also had the scallion cakes. Those didn’t last long.
And topped it all off with vanilla bean bourbon ice cream. I’m ready to go back, so much I want to try.
Our waiter was absolutely amazing!! (“Tall, skinny guy with long hair.” – His self description of himself.) He told us the story of Teddy Wongs and gave us some great food recommendations. He was attentive the whole time and made us feel like we were his only table. The guy never stopped moving. We will definitely ask for him next time!
The food came out quickly. First time there so we ordered a bunch of items. Be prepared that things do come out at different times and not all together but it works out. It’s kinda like family style service.
Orange chicken – Amazing. Biggest hit of the day.
Chicken fried rice – Good not great. A little bland but we did ask for no vegetable. We will probably try it spicy next time.
Spicy cucumbers – My personal favorite but you really have to love cucumbers to appreciate this dish.
Pork Boa Buns – Good not great. Could have used a little more meat to even out the bun to meat ratio.
Shrimp and cilantro dumplings – Amazing. We got them fried and that was a definite win!
Pork soup dumplings – Good not great. Also the soup dumplings were a little bigger than I prefer. It’s hard to eat a soup dumpling that big without making a mess
Scallion pancake – A MUST Everyone loved these. We almost ordered a second round.
White peach sake – So good. It smells really strong at first but it’s really good.
Diver Pearl Mixed Drink – Really good and a little strange at the same time. Probably wouldn’t order again though.
Only negative was the delivery of food. We were at a six top round table. Someone would come by in a hurry, put the food on the section of table closest to them while simultaneously stating the name of the item that they were dropping off and then “run away”. My husband told one of them that it was for the person across the table and they told him to just pass it around to that person. With all the food we ordered, it was a constant rotation of very awkward, hurried interactions. FYI this was the food runners not our amazing waiter.
This place should be on everyone’s 2026 must try lists. We will definitely be back soon!
It’s a cute little, very intimate restaurant. While it’s kind of a traditional Asian place, it also had a kind of weird cowboy flavor going on as well.
We both got the BBQ fried rice. It was good, a bit heavy on the vegetables and a bit light on the BBQ. It was very good with a decent portion.
Our waiter was very good, friendly and helpful. The manager did try to upsell us for a bottle of wine while we were eating. Nice try anyways
We might go back as my daughter would love this but it’s not close to where I normally be so…
Expensive but good. Lunch for 2 ran $35 plus
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the menu had a great variety of options to try. I’ll definitely be coming back to sample more dishes. Highly recommend this spot if you love authentic, delicious dim sum!
Tried the hot oil pork dumplings. Really liked the flavour and the kick from the spicy oil.
Wagyu potstickers were really good and you can taste the quality of the meat.
Pork soup dumplings are very tasty.
We ordered a lot of things to try, we figured we’d have some leftovers for the week, but we were surprised at how generous the portions were.
Everything we ordered was great. Peking duck is amazing, and the orange chicken was great.
We will definitely be back.
