A lovely little pizzeria right on the lake. While they are takeout only, there are some public park benches nearby with a great view. The pizza itself was a little less impressive. There are no vegetarian pizzas on the menu (including a lack of a plain cheese pizza), and making a veggie equivalent of the supreme costs more than the supreme with meat on it. Our veggie custom pizza had way too much cheese on it, and both pizzas were floppy with mostly soggy crusts. It was an average experience overall

Gave them a 10$ tip to get a half cooked pizza with 3 pieces of pepperoni. Called and let them know the situation, they refuse to believe me, said we’ll get 10% off next time 🙂 great people.

Gourmet sandwiches are tasty, but they should offer some accompaniments in addition to just chips or slaw for the price you pay. Need to shore up order accuracy, having gotten two back-to-back orders wrong. Recommend, depending…..see below.
I should add, the last time we received the wrong items the person that took our order said she realized at the time that she may have included the wrong items and offered to add the right items the next time we order. We obviously would’ve liked what we ordered when we ordered it, but accepted the replacements the following time.
The previous order was missing the bag of chips and we didn’t bother calling. However, the sandwiches are pricey and we should have.
We really like the sandwiches and don’t mind the prices. Making an effort to get the orders right would make for a 4-5-star review.
Update on update….This place is really hit or miss, depending on who is preparing the food. When it’s good it’s great and when it’s bad it’s a waste of money.

I’ve eaten here twice now and both times I’ve been extremely impressed! The Thai bites and the pesto bites are both wonderful! Their pizza dough has a hint of garlic in it and tastes really good! I don’t usually eat pizza crust but I do with their pizza because I enjoy the flavor of their crust! I appreciate the diverse menu choices offered for such a small town: vegan cheese, Thai pizza, chickpeas! Highly recommend!

So much more than just great pizza! We’ve been working our way through the extensive menu because we want to try it all! Everything we’ve had has been amazing and the service is top-notch too!

What a fantastic pizzeria! Teal Lake Pizzeria has the friendliest workers, and unbelievably delicious food!
We ordered pickup for a 12” Supreme pizza with no pepperoni sub extra sausage (no upcharge :)!), and a snack size jalapeño bacon cheesy bites.
Rating Scale (out of 10)-
Food- 10/10. The pizza was loaded with delicious toppings and everything was SO fresh! Yum! The jalapeño bacon cheesy bites have just enough Zing and the snack size is huge!
Service – 10/10. The workers make me feel welcome and thank me every time I get food from here. I appreciate that, and them!
Price- 10/10. You will not leave hungry with even the 12” pizza. It’s so loaded with delicious toppings that myself and another have plenty of leftovers. You get what you pay for and that is very true here!
If you haven’t already given Teal Lake Pizzeria a try, you MUST! It’s worth a drive too!

This place is great, always friendly staff. The food is always good. The only complaint i have is the wait time, but it really isn’t that bad at all. Really though, come here and try their menu. Especially the mac and cheese pizza creation (forgot name). And smoothies! Love me the smoothies

Teal Lake Pizzeria was amazing. We got the fire station pizza. It was super filling and unique (in a good way). It was a flavor explosion. I wish we had a Teal Lake in Grand Rapids. YUM 10/10

The cheesy bites are amazing! And the Italian salad is a great meal! If you haven’t been there recently give it a try, the new menu options are totally new for our area, like macaroni and cheeses pizza, even build your own macaroni and cheese topped pizza!

I just moved to Ishpeming and drive past this place every day. Finally got around to trying it and it’s now one of my fav go-to spots. Their new chef is great and has a ton of delicious new menu additions. My fav are the bagel bites and jalapeño popper pizza. Everyone wants to know “HOW’S THE CRUST?” It’s fanfriggintastic. I’d describe it as a hand tossed crust. Good crispy bottom, but it has a nice chew to it. The folks that run it are kinda, friendly, and seem to really enjoy what they do. Support a great local business and satisfy your hunger.
