First off let me say thank you for being a completely gluten-free restaurant. As a husband of a wife with a gluten allergy it is very hard to enjoy going out worrying about cross contamination or being saddened by the restrictive amount of GF options at other places. This place is the go to spot for a gluten free experience, or if you value your health and want delicious hearty food. Our server was amazing, forgot her name but she had beautiful tattoos! I ordered the breakfast taco and wife ordered the classic plate and enjoyed every bite. Both our coffee and chai tea was amazing and offered agave nectar as sweetener to really elevate the beverage. I will be looking forward to dining here again when we visit the area in the future. We would have visited today but they are closed on Sunday’s which is respectable.

If you’re looking for a low-carb breakfast or lunch spot that doesn’t make you choose between flavor, freshness, or affordability—Tea Thyme Cafe nails all three. I ordered the build-your-own omelet and went full veggie mode: red and yellow peppers, green onions, red onions, spinach, more I can’t remember and olives on top, plus bacon and cheddar all served with sliced avocado, and salsa—for only $11.49. That’s a serious win for a low-carb, high-flavor meal that doesn’t feel like a compromise!

My friend got the turkey tacos (kind of looks turkey salad-ish), which came on a bed of spinach and were loaded with green onions, cranberries, mandarin oranges, and walnuts. It looked fresh and creative—definitely not your average taco situation—for $12.99.

Our server, Judy, had a straight-faced charm that grew on us quickly. She was attentive, patient and had the kind of wit that sneaks up on you in the best way keeping the vibe fun! I asked an embarrassing number of questions about the vegetable options, and she handled it like a pro. Even the food runner checked in to make sure my veggie-packed omelet masterpiece came out just right. It was really nice.

Only downside? Parking. Lunchtime on a Wednesday = packed. But once you’re inside, it’s smooth sailing with plenty of seating, quick service, and food that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp since sunrise.

Will absolutely be back.

I had the vegan taco and my mother had a club sandwich. Both were excellent. The quality of the ingredients was good and the veggies were fresh.

The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and there when we needed her and never made us feel rushed.

This was a WOW for me. We were just passing through and asked some locals for a breakfast cafe nearby. We were to Bluebonnet Cafe and Tea Thyme Cafe. Once they said they offered gluten-free options, I was sold. If a place offers gluten-free options, they are sure to offer lots of fruit and veggie options and be very careful with their menu. I’m so glad we chose this one. The staff was SO kind and patient. The omelette was THE BEST I’ve ever had, with so many veggies, real eggs, and mozzarella cheese. I’ve never had an omelette with mozzarella cheese before. They also had a side called “enchanted mushrooms” and it was so amazing in flavor. I wish we had this restaurant back home. I’d be there weekly!

Tea Thyme has changed my life in ways i never expected….
For more than 12 years I’ve been blessed to enjoy this scrumptious creation & it continues to nourish me on every level.

Every meal here feeds more than just my body. It blesses my taste buds, lifts my energy, sharpens my mind, and leaves me feeling clean, vibrant, strong, and deeply cared for.
It tastes amazing every single time.
And it makes me feel amazing, every single time.

Every bite is overflowing with flavor, intention, and authenticity. You can feel the love intertwined into every dish…

And… there’s the TURKEY TACO… I genuinely don’t think there’s a dish anywhere in the world that compares. It is the most unique, unforgettable meal I’ve ever had, a masterpiece that somehow gets better every time…. I eat it 1–3 times a week and it never loses its magic.

Tea Thyme is a treasure unique to MFTX, and I feel grateful every time I get to experience it.

This place is amazing! Everyone is so kind and the menu is FULLY gluten-free.

Excellent, light, perfect pancakes, crunchy, chewy bacon, and delicate, delicious gluten-free bread you’d never know was gluten-free were highlights.

The sandwiches are amazing and fully customizeable. Plus, the owner served our food!

This lovely, relaxed place features gender-neutral restrooms and a friendly staff with an excellent menu.

The desserts, including an incredible coconut cream pie, are house-made. The menu imcludes a flourless chocolate cake, but that’s NOT true!

It’s a flourless torte, and it’s one of the most decadent, rich things you will ever put in your mouth. The super-dark chocolate is knock-you-over good.

People who have said negative things…I can’t help you. This place is superb! You will not be disappointed.

These same folks also just opened a gluten-free streakhouse called Stone Steakhouse that will be at the top of our list when we’re back in town.

Thank you, Janet, for a lovely experience!

Amazing food. All gluten free and accommodating to my husband’s milk allergy. I had the chicken fajita soup and a hummus sandwich. My husband had a Reuben minus the cheese. There were many more tasty looking options as well.

Peanut Butter Pie was so YUMMY! Turkey melt was delicious. I didn’t purchase the salad bar but it had a wide variety of veggies and fruit choices. Restaurant is gluten free.

Nice little coffee and restaurant. It was very comfortable. Our waitress named Kimisha was very pleasant and friendly. The food was good and well-priced. I didn’t like the idea it was a mainly gluten-free venue. The food was good but I could tell the difference in lack of taste.

It’s awesome that they have lots of gluten-free options for those customers with restrictions. That’s why they get two not one star.
Claiming to be healthy and then serving hot coffee on plastic mug shows a lack of understanding of what is healthy and what is not.
Additionally food was meh. Nothing that will make me come back.
Requested extra avocado and for $3 got 3 tiny slices.
Tuna tacos were ok, not bad not great.
Definitely exploring other places in town.
