Their famous pancakes were gone and the alternatives I wanted were gone too. So, I had some buttermilk pancakes and a chorizo sandwich. They were okay but I’m not sure I would wait in line for those again. They’re so popular that you’d think you can order their specials by breakfast time.

This is one of the few places I have found where the cappuccino is just the right temperature, with the right level of bitterness and acidity. It is drinkable right away, unlike the mix of burnt espresso and boiling milk that most US cafes claim is a cappuccino. The breakfast was also amazing, I loved the salmon toast.

One of my favorite places in Petaluma for breakfast. Judging from the line, they have many fans. Be prepared to wait a bit during peak times, but the tasty food is worth it! Be aware, bring US currency as it’s cash only.
