Per the reviews we gave it a try. Ordered chow main without the soft noodles because we like the crunchy ones. The nice lady taking my order said they could do that. So disappointed when we got home and they put in the soft noodles and didn’t get hard ones.
The food quality and flavor was equal to what you get at the Safeway deli. Very disappointed.
We ate a little of everything and have plenty of left overs which I’ll doctor up with fresh vegetables for tomorrow’s lunch. Their idea of fresh veggies was a few onions and frozen peas.
Won’t be returning to Tea Leaf 2.

The waiter was so helpful. Prompt and courteous.they serve a tea and water in the first 30 seconds. The serving size was massive. Without asking, he offered take out containers. The best part? Their sweet and sour sauce is made on site and so freaking delicious!!

03/02/2024: Pretty standard American Chinese food. The two of us ordered the chicken wings, honey walnut shrimp, a special A and C. Chicken wings came hot and freshly fried. Nice a crispy. I would not recommend the honey walnut shrimp. There was too much sauce which was overpowering and the walnuts were quite crunchy.

Our specials included egg roll and fried rice. One with sweet sour chicken and Mongolian beef the other with sweet sour pork and chicken chow mein. The batter wasn’t too thick and had a nice crunch. Noodles were crispy style and short noodles like on a salad topping, not my preference. Mongolian beef was a bit charred. We’ll go back to try other dishes.

Overall we were satisfied and service was really friendly and prompt.

This is the most charming quaint eating place. The service is extremely friendly and the food is good. I only wish it weren’t as pricey.

I had the tea leaf beef with pea pods with 3 spice. Very good. Lots of veggies in it. Came with egg drop soup on the luncheon menu.

Absolutely worst Chinese food I’ve ever had!!!!!

freezer burnt shrimp obviously thawed and Frozen multiple times and was stinky like fish. Rice was at least 3 days old, I’ve had better out of my refrigerator after a week. Egg rolls were hard as a rock, crab Rangoon are fishy and old. Ive had better at midnight from a gas station. All the orders of rice were packed into on box. The chow mein looks like dried spaghetti.

I really hope we don’t get sick.!!!

I will never eat here again and I suggest no one else spend $100 hard earned money here.
If I could give zero I would, honestly looks like last week’s Safeway Chinese

I ordered the $20(!) Moshu Pork. The portion was very small and consisted of pork, eggs, peas, carrots, sprouts, and green onions. Seriously? For $20 you can’t include cabbage OR mushrooms? That would have made it bigger than the appetizer-sized portions I received. I cannot return to a restaurant that leaves me hungry after a $20 portion.

The hot n sour soup was good, definitely had a spicy bite to it.
On the combo plate, the Mongolian beef was tasty and the sweet and sour had a good sweet flavor. The plate could have been easily split for two light eaters.
Complaints: the main dish came too quickly to really enjoy the soup and the fortune cookie was stale, it was unwrapped. Service was very good.
