The atmosphere was very welcoming and there were many places to sit, the prices were very reasonable and there was a huge selection of different drinks. I got the taro and Taiwan oolong drinks and will hopefully try the food the next time I come here. The taro tastes very good, however the Taiwan oolong tasted like powder and had a strange mouthfeel, otherwise it was a good experience. Compared to the other boba places on Franklin Street this is probably the best one available.

Best Thai Tea I’ve had! The tea is strong and the boba have more flavor than other places I’ve stopped at recently.

SO good! I got the taro matcha and it was absolutely delicious. They have a wide variety of specialty drinks/bubble tea, and food as well. Fast & wonderful service. Highly recommend if you’re in CH!

Great boba tea place in Chapel Hill. Matcha slush is amazing here! We would strongly recommend snow ice. It’s quite close to Korean style snow ice if you choose toppings carefully—we choose milk flavor added with red beans, condensed milk, strawberries.

Anytime you go to Chapel Hill, this is a must try place for everyone to eat. The rice plates (especially the chicken rice plate) are so flavorful and feel light in your stomach after eating. This plate is so well paired with the bubble tea drinks. The atmosphere is also so great for studying and just overall relaxing.

The first time that I visited chapel hills can’t taste the snow…. , today we did and is delicious. The place has an environment super cool… the customer services is excellent and the team is very pending of the orders. A lot people and students come to enjoy the food and the others things offered by the menú. I’m felt very fortunately found this cafe .. is wonderfully!

Cha house is a nice little tea bar off of Franklin Street so you will have to pay for parking, mostly parallel parking on the street. The tea is quite excellent! I tried this place out because they are one of the only places that advertise the ability to substitute for non-dairy milk since my mom is vegan and I wanted her to try bubble tea. One day the boba was very soft and gummy and another time it was firmer and more of what I’m used to so I’m not sure how they make their boba. But after my second time I’m ready to go back and try more of their teas, the black milk tea I had is fantastic!

Update: It’s been rebranded to Tea Hill! The menu looks pretty similar- I love their mango milk tea with lychee jelly.

Depending on what time you go you might have the wait but it’s such good boba it’s worth it! Even the other specialty drinks are just as delicious.
