Hair in food, manager wanted to argue about the color of the hair not belonging to any employees. So a hot pink hair magically ended up stuck to my beef teriyaki inside of the takeout box. Had to pull the food out of the trash and bring it all the way back to the restaurant to FIGHT to get our money back. Like we were trying to scam for free food or something. Disgusting service, disgusting food. Horrible would not return. Used to love it here.

My girlfriend ordered Chinese food for us tonight. It was $56 dollars for this. We also got chicken fingers. The carton with candy cherries and pineapples is supposed to be sweet and sour. I expected a dish like my girlfriends, which was a sesame chicken. Why would I order two chicken fingers, and why was this little food $56 dollars. She ordered tea garden against my advice, this is why.

We have never had food like this. We waited 3.5 hours for our food. Boneless spareribs completely burnt…. completely edible. it arrived cold and mushy.
No flavor in the shredded spicy beef. There was hardly any beef in the dish. It was not spicy at all.
Found several little white hairs in a few pieces of the chicken fingers.

With that said-the orange chicken was decent. The ginger chicken tasted like earth. Like dirt. We ended up getting sick a few hours later. For almost $100-never again.

Ate here while staying next door at the DoubleTree. Loved everything about this place. Speedy and friendly service. Good food. Great cocktails. Good prices. The recent complaints are all from clueless New Years Eve orders. This place is great.

Just back from a trip to Florida and for me there would be nothing better than a quiet evening with good company and great food. We stopped in at the Tea Garden in Concord, NH. It’s absolutely a great place for casual, relaxed dining. —Exactly what we were looking for!

After finishing our Beef Teriyaki appetizer, we enjoyed generously portioned Beef Lo Mein and Szechuan Spicy Chicken with rice entrees. Everything was delicious. In fact, the food had that down-home heartiness of home cooked meals! SO Good! The pitcher of Chinese tea was very good as well; and it was Emily, our delightful Server, who mentioned that the Tea Garden Restaurant and Bar has been around for nearly forty years! —Lucky Concord!

So yes, indeed! We wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem for their delectable authentic Asian cuisine, wonderful service and reasonable prices.

FYI: Limited parking is available behind the restaurant. Dine-in or call to reserve dining on their outdoor terrace. Lastly,… Enjoy!

First time visiting, delicious food & prompt & courteous service. Pupu platter & Peking raviolis & lo mein for table. Ginger chicken lunch & mango chicken lunch platters both served with egg drop soup & fried rice. We enjoyed trying some of everything. Tea was hot but did not have good flavor and cost $ 2.50 per person never paid for tea, it was a non issue.
Would I visit again, yes nothing to keep me away.

Stopped by for lunch and enjoyed their lunch specials. We were seated right away and service was prompt and attentive. Prices are reasonable. The interior is comfortable and pleasant, and they have a full bar upstairs and TV’S and a pool table as well. We both agreed our food was good but not exceptional. Portions are adequate for the lunch specials. Overall a nice place for some Chinese food at a reasonable price right in downtown Concord.

We got Gau’s chicken, White and Pork fried Rice, Crab Rangoons, and Chicken Teriyaki.
I always get General Gau’s Chicken when I do Chinese, and I found that these for me were cooked too long, meaning the outside. The next time I return I will bring that up, for a shorter outer cooking time. Some of them were hard to cut. The taste was fine.
My brother enjoyed the Crab Rangoon and said he would order again.
The rice was staple for a restaurant.
What surprised me was the Chicken Teriyaki, it was GREAT. I enjoyed the marinade tremendously.
We just had water to drink as Tea was not instantly provided ( maybe if you asked ) but we were fine with water. The Waitress was friendly and accommodated us for more Duck and Hot Mustard sauces.
Yes we will go back! The portions were good for us. There was soft Chinese rock playing in the restaurant, it was fine, and not too loud. This is not an elaborate place, but can pass as cozy.

I honestly don’t know what happened this time…. I’m so disappointed! Food we got was horrible. Appetizers for 2 were dry… completely dried out! Rice the same..as if it was a day old.. noodles were weird…a strange added spice we had never tasted before on a simple lo mein and vegetable.
Normally it is very good. We don’t spend to much, it’s only the 2 of us but 60$ is still a bit. Actually alot when you end up throwing it all in the trash.
Very disappointed.

This was our first time there tonight and the food was fantastic. The waitress was very helpful and courteous. It was a total pleasure in every way. I had the Pepper Plater and it was perfect, the pan fried dumplings were probably the best we have had and my wife’s spicy Szechuan Beef was great she said.
