Food was pretty good, the orange sauce didn’t taste very orange-y but it wasn’t horrible. The ginger sauce and sesame shrimp were pretty tasty. The only reason I’m not giving more stars is that the service was not only a bit slow, but the guy who took our order didn’t seem very happy with his job. Also, we had finished and no one came to our table for a loooong time. My husband finally had to get someone to come and also had to get our own boxes for left overs.

It is a hole in the wall place at a very busy intersection. A crosswalk is immediately available for crossing if you park across the street at a meter. There is no parking lot. It gives the vibe of take-out. The sign is easy to read and the phone number listed in big numbers, so you call and order on a fancy. Pick up or delivery are both options.
The food is surprisingly different from most US and Canadian/Asian cusine. It has a silky appeal with a nearly buttery taste that reminds me of oyster sauce when it is used in cooking. The vegetables are tender crisp and cut to bite size. White rice complemented the order.
I wish I had tried other dishes, but at first taste, it is promising that this is a place I will return to and I can provide an update on different samplings. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the food. Since the person I was with went in to pick up, on my next experience with the Tea Garden I will also have to go in so that I can provide an update on the atmosphere too.
The recent price hikes on everything in these crazy pandemic times wasn’t spared from the Tea Garden and was reflected in the bill.

All around good place imo. Small parking lot that sneaks up on you though. We’ve been a few times now and foods been consistent and tasty. Prices are average (3 main dishes and appetizers generally $40-50, good portion sizes for 3-4 adults). I can’t give high marks but I also have no complaints at all.

I ordered delivery for my order. Took 25min to arrive at my door. Driver was a young kid and he was very polite. I ordered via website. The food was really good. I’ll definitely be ordering it again. They use eco-friendly containers too

Not happy with the quality of food or service as of recently. Do not enjoy regular dishes having a “strange” taste. Do not enjoy orders short rice that comes along with the order. Do not enjoy employees who “throw” a debit card back at their customers. Will enjoy giving other local restaurants our business.

I miss the old owners, they were awesome, always had A+ service, they had excellent food. The new owners have brought this place down. I get a VERY simple dish I’ve eaten for 4 yrs. I would get it here (with old owners & tea house) all the time. There is a chicken broccoli dish with rice, instead of chicken, I sub tofu in it’s place (simple, right? No). I could not get 1 person there to understand my very simple 2 ingredient order. After 5mins on the phone, and 3 people later, my efforts to communicate this were futile. I ate this dish in person there once after a long time of explaining I want to change ONE ingredient they have for another. I refused to ever eat there again, but didnt want to drive to Orange this particular day, as I had a long day, Never again, I’ll take the ride next time. Hope the old owners come back, unlikely. I never leave bad reviews, this place has gone down hill.

Nice place but they love to sit you where there is already a large crowd. Took 30 minutes for a simple tequila sunrise and 45 minutes for a hot and sour soup. Not impressed especially as I wanted a more private setting at the bar. Not to mention the sweet and sour sauce is like water
