Overall

Tea Drip is a super cute spot with great service, a clean bright vibe, and festive Christmas decorations (at least when we visited). I’d come back, especially for their ube drinks.

What I ordered

Ube taro milk
This was genuinely very good, mainly because they use real ube. You can actually see the ube paste, and it makes a big difference in flavor, quality, and texture.

Sweetness level

Get it at 0% sugar. Even at “0%,” it still tasted sweet to me, like roughly a mild sweetness level you’d get in Korea (not truly unsweet). If you dislike sweet drinks, 0% is the move.

Boba and ice

Next time I’d request less boba (either half boba or about 33% less than standard).
Also, there was a lot of ice. I’d prefer less ice so you get more drink volume.

Milk options

Oat milk was available but costs $0.75 extra. For me, it wasn’t worth it because regular milk tasted good already. If you’re lactose intolerant, it’s a helpful option. Also worth noting: oat milk can make the drink taste a bit sweeter.

Portion and sharing

Size was fine. It’s a good drink to share between two people if you just had a heavy meal.

Service and ambience

Service was great. The shop felt clean, bright, and cozy, and the holiday decor made it feel extra fun.

Rewards program

They have a points system tied to your receipt. You text a code to a number on the receipt to start earning points. It’s 1 point per drink, and you need 15 drinks for a free one. Worth it if you’re local, probably not if you’re just visiting.

Would I return?

Yes. The real ube ube taro milk alone makes it worth a stop, just order 0% sugar and ask for less ice.

I have soooo many good things to talk about this place. Imma start with drinks. My drink was the strawberry matcha, my friends got a passionfruit tea and pandan matcha. My matcha was perfect, it was delicious. One of the best matcha place in Duluth for suuurrreee.

Second thing I wanna talk about is the customer service. They were super nice and accommodating even when it’s extremely busy. We never felt like we were bothering them at all , we stayed for a while chatting and the seats were soooo cute. I would def come back for more~

I made the trip from Charlotte to Duluth and had to stop by Tea Drip because they had something I rarely find anywhere: an ube Vietnamese latte. I love ube Vietnamese lattes and always try them when I see them on a menu, so I was really excited to finally try Tea Drip’s and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious.

The employee who took my order was incredibly kind and accommodating. I mentioned that I usually don’t like my drinks too sweet, but also not overly strong, and she thoughtfully recommended a sweetness level that would suit me. She even reassured me that they could remake it if it wasn’t quite right, which I really appreciated. Turns out, the first drink was perfect.

I got my drink to go, but the shop itself has a really cute vibe with plenty of seating inside. Next time I’m in Duluth, I’ll definitely be stopping by again. Highly recommend!

I have tried multiple matchas around the Atlanta area and this was the best one I have had! The strawberry puree was the perfect sweetness and the matcha is itself wasn’t sweetened that much so you could really taste the matcha itself! I 1000% recommend! I will definitely be coming back 🙂

If Tea Drip has a billion fans, I’m one of them. If Tea Drip has one fan, that is literally me. If Tea Drip has zero fans, I have simply passed away. I love their matcha latte, but the Coco Matcha has been my entire personality lately. It makes me bust it down, twirl, and suddenly believe life is beautiful again after a long week. I will always come back. I am basically part of the family at this point. <3

Perfect place for your matcha cravings. We got the matcha latte and strawberry matcha latte. The matcha latte is a classic matcha drink. The strawberries in the other one perfectly cuts the bitter matcha aftertaste.

If you’re worried about the strawberry matcha being too sweet, ask for 50% sweetness. The strawberries alone are enough to make up for any lack of artificial sugar.

Drinks took about 5 mins with no one ahead of us. Seating can be limited due to the cafes small size. Seats include bench (near entrance), regular pull out chairs, and booth/pull out chair style.

Yum! First time here because the owner at my job recommended it to me. Loved how when you get less sweet, it actually is! The ube was thick, creamy texture and the salt rosemary plum with foam was refreshing. Loved the mango puree chunks and the fresh taste of matcha where it’s also not too strong. Area was clean and a great place to hang out. The employees were helpful and friendly, though it would have been better if one of them showed a bit more energy. Would definitely return to this place!

Update: Just wanted to update my review because their matcha was sooo good today. It was a beautiful darker green and the flavors were an amazing balance. Definitely one of my top 5 places.

As a frequent Japan traveler. When this place opened up, it was the only place that reminded me of the matcha I had in Japan. Within the same month the opened, I went there countless times.
The matcha was so rich green in color and muddy that you can experience how good the matcha flavor was.
Today I went in after not going for a bit and I had the worst matcha experience. The “matcha late” tastes like watered down milk with a lot of sugar. I was so shocked with flavor since this is the first time it happened to me.
I wanted to get a refund but the worker offered to remake it. The remake was slightly better but still the matcha was too sweet and it still tasted watered down.
I was quite upset with how the quality went down since this plate was my go to matcha place everytime I miss Japan. Definitely not worth paying 8 dollars now for matcha drink that tastes like sugary milk.

Been here multiple times and all their drinks have been great! Their Viet coffee is delish and will keep you buzzed. My favs have been the ube drip coffee, matcha drip coffee, and taro ube milk. They also just added some pandan drinks and a jasmine matcha!
