That’s one thing I do love about Skokie is that there’s plenty of surprises out there and oodles of restaurants to choose from. Stopped in here this past late April after wandering around Old Orchard Mall and was a pleasant first experience.
This also marked the first time in general at any TBK location as well as dining in on an “island” in the Chicago area. The Mexican fare is really good and upon walking in, the staff here is very welcoming & friendly.
Anytime it’s my first visit to a Mexican restaurant, I always go for their chicken enchiladas w/mole sauce (if the mole option is available) and always a steak taco or 2 along with an horchata. My wife & kids enjoyed their food as well.
Great service, awesome food at fair prices, attractive dining room which is kept very clean and another great find among Mexican venues. I really enjoyed the food here, my compliments to the chef/cooks.
We live pretty far north in northeastern Lake Co but are in the area a few times a year so a stop back in will definitely happen. Hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

The woman who takes the orders is very welcoming, food is decent. However, make sure you check your order before leaving. I asked for nachos with, beef avocado, and rice. I got this!

Horrible food visited today at noon . Dryyyyyy meat . Spoiled tamales. Carnitas spoiled and discolored. Soggy cilantro. Thick cut onions. All bad. I was so disappointed on my way to work . The food was not Edible.

We catered a fiesta pack for 15 people and it was excellent! They delivered and set up and the food was fantastic! Steak and chicken were moist and flavorful, rice and beans were great and they provide every fixing you could ever want!

Food was mm mm good, had the junior burrito dinner, highly recommend, that mini football was delicious. Service and staff were awesome and friendly definitely will be a repeat spot.

BEWARE OF ORDERING FOR DELIVERY!!! We ordered delivery directly from their online website because the family and I had a long exhausting day and it was raining outside. Upon its arrival, we discover that the order is wrong. We call the restaurant and the employee who answered the phone said he did not understand and hung up. Called again and hung up. We ended up having to drive to the actual restaurant and demand a refund. Terrible service and never ordering from there again.
