Excellent Cauliflower appetizer and waitress awesome- lovely patio and warm interior. We can tolerate some heat but the beef and shrimp tacos were not memorable because after 2 bites it was a heat overload. I think the beets were even hot. Beans fire hot. No relief. Flavor was there initially but got burned out. Possibly the Guacamole was the problem? I love a good guacamole and there was no love here. We would come back to try something with zero heat as a great spot and service exceptional.

This place was a wonderful surprise and deserves all the stars! This places ticked all the boxes from food, to cocktails, to service, to ambiance. First time here but hoping it won’t be my last. Popped in here on my happy hour adventure in Short Pump and every single one of my expectations wad just blown out of the water. I grabbed a seat at the bar since it was just me. They have a great and insanely reasonable happy hour menu. I ordered the Redwood cocktail and it was absolutely delicious, this coming from someone who doesn’t really care for bourbon but was intrigued by the description. For dinner I went with the whipped feta with honey and their pulled pork sliders. Feta dish? Creamy whipped feta, honey, and warm bread like what’s not to like? Pulled pork sliders were small and the perfect portio for one person. Through all this consistent check ins from their amazing staff who was kept very busy but I never felt like an after thought. Cherry on top? They were kind enough to brew me a cup of coffee despite all the chaos and it was this type of service that makes Mr want to come back and share the experience with theirs the next time I’m in the area.

Had booked a table, but the table was not ready when we arrived. We were offered a table outside, sat down, but it was too cold. Then got a table inside on high chairs. Which was not quite optimal for us. Understand that it is not always easy to calculate when people come and go, but as we had booked in advance this should have been fixed.

GREAT experience and delicious food! Went for Brunch on a Saturday and was thrilled with every aspect of the place! Our server Martin was a consummate professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, and timely! He made great recommendations and took the effort to try and swap a menu match because we had someone allergic to avocado. Each dish was perfect, highly recommend the French Toast or huevos rancheros. The pizza was killer also! Everything on the menu looked delicious so I am definitely going back in the near future.

Tazza kitchen is never a disappointment. I love the food here, especially the pizzas. Prior reservation is advised during weekends and evenings but not mandatory. Brunch and lunch times are usually less crowded. They take good care of dietary restrictions.

Good atmosphere. Good service. Price is kind of unreasonable. Not impressed with our food. The French toast was just not bad at best, and the sausage pizza was super salty. Definitely doesn’t worth $14. Good place to hang. But not a good place if you’re just looking for good food.

I eat at the Tazza Kitchen in Scott’s Addition all the time and the food is great. We went to Short Pump tonight and this was some of the worst food I’ve had in while. We had chips and guac. I’ve never had tortilla chips so thick and hard before! I was honestly concerned about chipping a tooth. None of the food had any flavor. The mocktail was watered down and came with a watermelon rind (just the rind) that look like someone had eaten the watermelon off of it and then stuck rind in the glass. Will not go back to this location.

I consider Tazza a hidden gem, it doesn’t get the popularity as some of the larger restaurants. The food is gourmet and always fresh. Chef changes the menu through out the year with available fresh produce. You can always try new dishes and can never get tired eating here. Best of all, food is very reasonably priced, you can get a well prepared meal without putting a hole in your wallet. The service has always been perfect. Plenty of cocktails, beer and wine to pair with your meal.
