Stopped in on a Tuesday evening for dinner. Seated right away. The volume on the restaurant made it easy to carry onna conversation. Our server was friendly and helpful. We tried the goat cheese appetizer. Wasn’t exactly as expected. It was a sort of tomato soup and bread…but it was a dip instead of soup. The bread was yummy but we wouldn’t order it again. Our meal came out quickly, hot and delicious. Overall nothing special but still good.
Appreciated the portions were good but not HUGE. We’ll be back for sure.

I’ve never had a dish here that I didn’t like. More recently, I had brunch which certainly lived up to my expectations from previous visits. I opted to get the Crab Cake Benedict where the eggs were poached to perfection with an incredible flavor profile from the crispy prosciutto over green fried rice topped with an incredible lemon chipotle hollandaise.
The cocktail menu is updated seasonally with quality choices catering to a spectrum of preferences. Pictured are the New Era (bourbon) and the Permanent Leave (tequila) cocktail which blew us away having such a balanced yet refreshing vibe—hoping they keep that one around for a while.
The staff is very accommodating and truly match the quality in the food and atmosphere. Highly recommended going solo, date night, or a group!

Nobody Knows It But Me
This place was amazing!! The drinks New Era and Octoberfest were great. The nachos were the perfect size for the four of us to share a modest amount. The group had three pizza that everyone shared a piece and play “argued” about which one was the best. One had the Wedge salad and it was perfect as well. It was a good size and not overly smothered in dressing (you can ask for it on the side). One thing that was taken off was the onions. Then the flour-less chocolate cake and the key lime pie with green tea and espresso finished everything off great. Had a wonderful night with my family and would be happy to come again. The wait staff had personality and were witty which was a sheer delight. The atmosphere was on par with very high end places. We were able to talk without having to shout over loud music, tvs, and other people. We could hear people talking just not what they were saying which again is so nice “Eat in Peace”.

This was my second time eating here and I have to say it is a fabulous place to grab some great food and drinks. My only issue is I wish they would do a little more with their Bloody Mary, but I have yet to find a place I Richmond that does a great one.

We have dined here several times and always had great food. Last night we visited and had the brussel sprouts, harissa bowl and cheeseburger. The adobo chicken in the harissa bowl tasted like mens cologne to both of us. The cheeseburger was lacking and I could’ve gotten a better one at a fast food place. Had this been are first time there, we probably would never return. Hopefully this was just an off night, but we were disappointed.

Nice restaurant. Service was very good. Wait staff were friendly. We ordered the salmon and a burger. Salmon was good but the burger was a little bland. It had no flavor to it. We will probably go back but I won’t order the burger.

This place required reservations but the staff was soooo warm and welcoming…they got seated rather quickly. This was the ABSOLUTE best service in a long time. Our sever had NO pen and pad but remembered EVERY detail to our party of 4 order! And everything was fantastic. I’m a vegetarian and I was NOT neglected in my choices. We could not stop complimenting the warm vibes, the server and amazing food. Definitely it’s our NOW spot!

Visit Date: 10/28/2021 This was my first visit which I enjoyed overall. I came here with 3 friends for a book club meeting on a Thursday during happy hour. The sangria was amazing, I like my drinks on the stronger side as opposed to sweet and it fit the bill. I also loved the guacamole. I tried each of the HH tacos and my favorite was the braised pork (short rib 2nd and chicken 3rd). The atmosphere was great for us and would also be perfect for a date night. There were even a few families with children present also. The only negative about our visit was feeling a bit rushed by our server after we had eaten our food, we were there to discuss the book so naturally we didn’t just eat and leave. Our server was pleasant but he constantly came over after we ate (before we ordered dessert). He also didn’t offer to split our check until he came by and noticed me trying to calculate our individual total’s. I definitely plan to come here again and I’m really looking forward to trying their pizza because they have a brick oven!
