Close by Vanderbilt, Walgreens, and other food chains.
The ambiance is something that reminds me out a new York style deli..I think its because of the deep hues of blue, and splashes of white and the subtle touches of seasonal flowers, and the foot traffic and car traffic. Always a car pulling up, honking etc. This a not your average eater!
They have a combination of salads,SOUP and more!
The absolute number #1 YOU need it a cup of Lemon soup, this soup is delecatable, full-bodied, smooth, comforting, and over all sensational! I cant believe I just used sensational to describe a soup! I digress, moving on. This soup, has shredded, chicken, shivered carrots, basmatic rice, herbs and spices and a bursting flavor of lemon-YES lemon!! I have had this soup 25 times. Each time it taste the exact same! They have mastered this soup and its great in the morning, noon or night.
Summer time or winter! Its that good!!!
I visited this place with an aquatics once, then I was hooked. I dont live in Nashville but I frequent Nashville, and everytime I am in town. I bring home 4 soups, to freeze! There salads are bursting with flavor, each vegetable is seasoned, the shrimp is seasoned to perfection, well done and not dry.
The chicken. Is carefully grilled and is NOT dry! I have literally had everything on the menu and oh did I mention the soup?? WAIT….I did sorry I just love it. They also have a crutite platter of fresh cut vegetables, carrots, squash, black olives and this sauce. The only item I have not tried is the lamb.
Oh oh!! They have a grilled roasted red bell pepper topping or side… a bursting of flava in your mouth!!
Thats next on my list! Everything that Ive had has is fresh, and filling. Ive had every salad as well. Trust me, if you enjoy mediatrianian, full-body food, but won’t make you feel over stuffed this is the perfect place for you!
One downside, I feel the portion of rice are small, the amount of shrimp too. But the chicken portions are just right. I realize in this economy we live everything is a bit more pricey. But I think those items should be increases, or if you place an entree such as soup, salad you should be offered thr option of extra chicken or a side.
The parking can be hard especially during peak times lunch from a out 11 to 2pm.Dinner can be a little slower, to eat in or pick up.This restaurant is great but when it comes to parking for those who are handicapped may find this to be a bit taxing, to maneuver from parking lot to inside the establishment.
Other things that many dont look at but the quality of thr containers are nice, as well as the cups you’re rice, sides go in are of good quality. When you have to go soup, its in a hard plastic container. Utensils are your average black, knife and fork with salt a d pepper packets. Also the spoons are normally wrapped up in a napkin or aluminum foil with your soup.
Low marks because Uber Eats app forces the purchase of a drink for every entree.
We ate here 3-4 days per week. Now only abouy 1 day. Unfortunate for us because food is good.
Not paying an up charge on delivery for something we don’t need.
