I placed a large catering order from Taziki’s Mediterranean Café in Montgomery for 16 people, and I was very impressed. We ordered chicken kabobs, steak kabobs, and lamb kabobs with rice and Greek salad. The food was excellent—tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The salad was fresh, and the portions were generous enough to keep everyone satisfied.
What really stood out was the service. Even though it was a big order, everything was ready in just 25 minutes, neatly packaged, and easy to pick up. Taziki’s made feeding a large group simple and stress-free. Highly recommended for both the quality of the food and the efficiency of the service!

Service is nice and the seating is comfortable. However, the food was not really up to par. Both salmon and falafel are dry.

This place is amazing! Food prepared as ordered and they were quick. We got the 30 minutes after opening and they were busy and kept getting busier. Chicken kabobs were full of flavor and super tender. Grilled salmon was seasoned well and flaky . Salads and rice were perfect especially with the heat outside. We’ll be back.

I’ve been enjoying lamb gyros for the past 50 years. The lamb gyro I had at Taziki’s is actually the worst gyro I’ve ever had in my life, hands down! The meat was plain ground lamb with no spices and wasn’t gyro meat at all whatsoever. Then, to make matters worse, they poured oil & vinegar on it!!! That finished its ruination! Adding tzatziki sauce didn’t help, either, as that was pretty tasteless, too. My friend said her Greek salad wasn’t very good, either. The food is not Greek, it’s claimed that in name only. My suggestion is, don’t waste your time eating at Taziki’s. I sure won’t be returning there for anything!

This place has great service and food. We walked in and checked out the menu before ordering. We got up to the counter and the gentleman was smiling and answered my questions about the spice level of the hummus. About 5 minutes after ordering our food arrived hot and fresh. I ordered the veggie pita and spicy hummus. The price was $17 and some change. The food was flavorful and fresh. I’m going back soon!

Tasty food, good service and a nice dining area. The place was pretty busy for a Friday lunch. I really prefer the typical gyro meat, but the beef gyro was pretty good. I had a side of rice, they gave me chips, but I didn’t ask for those (would have preferred something else). I have had better Mediterranean food, but I did enjoy my lunch

It’s an order at the counter and they bring your food, which is great for single diners! Large portion. I got the chicken kebob with Greek salad and roasted potatoes. It came with dressing and tzakiki sauce. It was all very tasty but the meat and potatoes had too much lemon. Making it sharp on the tongue. But the tzakiki helped tone it down. It took 30 mins for my one entree to come out but I don’t mind waiting. Just letting you know in case you need a quick bite, this wouldn’t be the place for it. Prices are modest. Atmosphere and bathroom is nice and clean. Staff are very friendly and attentive!

Food was okay. Nothing exciting but it was edible. I’ve had better and worse. The service left a lot to be desired, though. The staff is not very informed about the menu items and ingredients. I don’t recommend this place if you have any food allergies or sensitivities, or if you have special dietary needs and limitations. The cashier erased my phone number before I finished entering it and lost my reward points. The speaker for the music (which is unnecessary anyway) was so loud, we could not comfortably have a conversation. Overall, was not a great dining experience but food was okay.
To answer store questions, for one thing, I asked what is on the potatoes. I was told nothing, just plain Potatoes but your posted response list other items. When I asked about a couple of clarifications on menu items, the staff had no idea about the ingredients. The music is the speaker I was referring to in my post. It is so loud it makes eating the meal miserable. I go to lunch with friends to socialize and discuss our live events, but we could not talk over the loud music on the speaker. And the cashier erasing my number, causing me to lose my reward points, I guess is just a sign to try a different lunch meeting spot next time. Thank you for at least responding to the post.

A favorite of my wife’s, this is her go to Mediterranean place. She often makes me drive past one or two other places to go here. It was her birthday tonight so I picked her up some Tazikis to go. The restaurant was all but empty, one family ordering and a single patron seated waiting for something. Ironically there were “Stop littering” signs EVERYWHERE in the parking lot, and as the wind whipped the uncleaned tables outside were losing napkins and other table side accoutrements. She got her birthday dinner but was disappointed because the rice was in her words inedible, like scraped from the bottom of the pan. She said at least they Gyro had plenty of chicken and she ate a few of her potato chips. I could tell she is usually happier with the quality. That said the food was correct to the order and ready when I arrived. She will have plenty opportunities for redemption. I enjoy them myself from time to time.

I eat at Taziki’s all over Alabama. The Montgomery, AL location has the MOST horrible service. The absolutely the WORST staff at any restaurant. This is by far the worst Taziki’s of the restaurant chain.
