I’m very disappointed with my experience at Taza Grill. The gyro meat I was served was extremely old and burnt, completely inedible. On top of that, the fries they gave me had clearly been sitting over the warmer for hours — dry, stale, and flavorless. For paying nearly $20, it’s absolutely unacceptable to receive food that’s not fresh. This location has really gone downhill, and I won’t be coming back anytime soon. I’d advise you guys to do the same.

I always say that the restaurant experience is dependent on the hospitality of the staff, equal to the culinary experience. Both were excellent. Thank you Rasha, Osama and Grant and the Boss. Blessings for all of you.

I’ve been going to taza since I started working in the area. The food serenates the soul, and is always the same quality every time! The Boss is a great man with a great heart. I encourage families to come here on their lunch days if they want a great experience from an even greater place with even greater food! The beef kabobs and lemonade are to die for.

The man behind the counter is a real deal. He’s not serving tourist level food, but the real thing. Any Mediterranean man that calls you “boss” while building a gyro so fast, you can barely see his hands move is going to make amazing food.
I came in Thursday, it was so good I brought my brother with me Saturday. I am going to go back this Thursday to try the Taste of Lebanon. I know the man behind the counter can make a mean kabob, but I haven’t even tasted it yet.

First time visiting this place. I had the lamb platter. It was very good! Decent sized portion and very tender. The tzatziki was on point as was the hummus. I’ve had better hummus, but all in all I was very pleased with my meal. The prices are what I would expect from most similar restaurants. I found this place when I was stuck at nearby Wake Med Hospital waiting on someone. They are only 3 minutes from the ER and I really didn’t want fast food! Now that I know they are there, I will definitely be eating there again.

This restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat. The service is excellent, and the food is even better. My go-to is the steak and cheese. This is not your traditional steak and cheese. This is a Mediterranean version of the Steak and cheese. All the way comes with grilled onions, lettuce, and their oil & vinegar dressing.
The following information will show my age, but in 1996, when I was in high school at Millbrook Highschool, the original location off Falls Of Nuese Road, then called Hectors gave out flyers with coupons on campus. Myself and a few friends went to try the food, and I have been hooked ever since. The guys who run both locations are fantastic. They could not be friendlier. You will likely be greeted by one of them saying, “Hey, Boss.” The Steak and cheese with fries is my favorite. They have a spice seasoning for the fries, and it is delicious. It is so good I bought some for home. See my pics for a photo of it on my fries. The gyros are also tasty. I currently live in Wilmington, but every time I am back in Raleigh, I go to one of the locations. This is a Raleigh Gem, and it is a must-try if you visit or live in the area.

We’ve been eating at Taza Grill since it was called Hector’s and only had one location. You can count on a friendly “Hey Boss!” greeting and delicious casual Lebanese/Mediterranean. Can’t go wrong with the best gyros in town, the kebabs or the fantastic lamb platter.
