Tayton O’Brians is probably my favorite restaurant on Flagler Ave! Not only is their food amazing (everything we’ve tried is so good- if you like tots, try their tator tots- the best I’ve had and their fish and chips and large shredded chicken salad are our favorites), but there is a fun vibe, and the nicest and best staff!! Every bartender and server is super attentive, friendly, and caring! Ali and Ben are always amazing, we see them mostly on Sundays where we get their Bottomless Mimosas!! There is also a large back patio with cornhole and an outdoor bar that is awesome, too! Ben crafted an UNBELIEVABLE birthday shot for my husband that we will be getting every time now! Tasted like a Werther’s, absolutely delicious!

Our server, David, was so nice and attentive. We had no issues and he easily split our bills for a larger party. Our drinks were strong and tasty and we got poutine and regular fries which were delicious. The bartender, Samantha, was so kind and made delicious drinks for us as well. The atmosphere is lovely and we had a great time. Half off ladies night on tuesdays!!

Awesome place to sing karaoke and have fun with friends. Great mixed group of people and Erick was awesome as the DJ/karaoke master! He kept the beat going and was a great back up singer! Made everyone feel like a rockstar!

I was searching for a place for dinner that wasn’t a bar, but I was too late. Another place on last call recommended I stop here and so I did. I popped in on karaoke night and it was loud, but it ended up being a great night! The crowd was pretty small, maybe 15-20 max but everyone was having a blast and singing their hearts out, the atmosphere was surprisingly positive. The food was great. My friend ordered a Reuben and I went for the poutine and potato cakes. The Reuben was fantastic! I had never tried poutine before but I ended up really liking it. I love potato cakes, too so no complaints there. The bartender was running to our booth to serve us but our drinks were never empty despite her crowd, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The drink menu is extensive with everything from seltzers to cordials, so I doubt you’d have trouble finding the perfect drink. Overall, I’m very glad I came here last minute, what was going to be a regular dinner wound up being a very high energy meal. I’d definitely recommend this place for a good Reuben or a fun night out!

Samantha and Jeff the best team of bartenders! The Old Fashioned & Expresso Hazelnut Martini the best. Next we enjoyed the Shepherds Pie & COD Rubin wonderful. Jeff & Samantha friendly, accommodating and welcoming. We definitely will be back. Keep up the good work. Fantastic Irish pub.

Tayton’s is a pretty good place.All the bartenders are super friendly and take care of their patrons. Im only knocking off a star because the atmosphere inside wasn’t the best.
One person complained about “not playing music” even though the music was playing at a good level to still have conversation with someone without needing to yell. After this ONE complaint, the music was turned up a bit too loud and they started playing some good awful music. I could just enjoy my food and a few drinks with my boyfriend without needing to yell. It is an IRISH PUB not a night club.
The food was good. I got the Shepherd’s Pie and my bf got the Wizard of Oz Wings. I can see how they’ve won awards on the Shepard’s pie. We also shared loaded fries which were decent at best. There’s just no flavor to the fries themselves that its a bit hard to get down, however, the bf thought they were great.
All in all, Taytons get a 4/5 very great staff, tge atmosphere is good depending on the crowd (as can be expected on Flagler Ave), the food is also pretty good. I would definitely return to try more.

Haven’t been for a while, so I thought I would stop. I wasn’t impressed with employees behind the bar. They could use a class on professionalism and dress. I had Shepherds pie, which was good. Took my husband home Bangers n Mash. What a disappointment! Mash potatoes and gravy were good but Bangers looked and tasted like microwave turkey breakfast sausages. Unfortunately I won’t be going back. Really ashame because I like supporting locals, but not what it used to be.

From the perfectly hand cut homemade french fries, to the Ruben with real corn beef was sensational! Everything is homemade which I don’t think anyone realizes that what a gem!

From the moment I was seated until the our last minutes before leaving felt like a valued guest, with every need anticipated and catered to.
