First time having bahn mi and loved it! Got takeout on a Monday tonight and they were fast and pleasant. Dumplings and sauce was fresh, Rangoons house made, Bahn Mi pork belly just came out of the oven and was great.

The meatball pho is very good. Generous amount of broth and toppings will leave you satisfied. The included hoisin and sriracha was a nice touch.

My only complaint is that the broth felt like it was missing something. I added a pinch of salt and some msg and that made a big difference, though I realize that this is a personal preference.

Chicken lo mein and crab rangoons were great – generous portions for reasonable prices. I will definitely be back to try something new next time.

Boba was good. But the service was not good. Went in it was dead and one guy was working. Herd him say “of corse they are getting bubble tea,” the Bao is a meatball.

I really like this place. Being a Vietnamese and a cook, I tried many Vietnamese restaurants in Vietnam l, Boston and here. This place has the best roasted pork Vietnamese sandwich. And no I don’t know the owner or related. Their sandwich bread is soft and thin, each bite has equal amount of meat, bread and vegetables. The balance of sweet, sour, salty, fatty and crispy was right on with each bite. Growing up I always like crispy roasted pork Vietnamese sandwich in Vietnam and there are non around here in southern Maine or even Maine. I can’t speak for their other dishes because once I found the roasted pork sandwich, I only go back there for that lol. For less than 10$, you will not find another better roasted pork sandwich.

This is my FAVORITE place to eat lately. The Bahn mi is great – the Shrimp BUN noodles are unbelievably good and refreshing, is great for a hot summer day! Flavors are amazing in everything, including coffee. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee is to die for. I got the iced hazelnut espresso today, wow. So good!

Words can’t describe the amount of love I have for their pork buns, and the pork fried rice was absolutely amazing as well. My only wish is that they had larger sizes for Boba tea, I feel like it was empty in the blink of an eye. 10/10 will be back.

Their crispy pork is amazing and I think about it every time I head out that way. Love their tea as well. Enjoyed all of their flavors. Depends on who makes them. One girl there filled the entire thing up with ice and that was quite annoying. But from all the appetizers and main entree, the food here is fantastic. That crispy pork though. You got to try it.

I was bummed this place didn’t deliver as one would expect from the various 5 star reviews of late. However, it was a miss for us.

We ordered take out on a slow Wednesday evening – Chicken Pho and Pork Grilled Bánh Mi.

The chicken noodle soup / pho was fine, but not particularly notable. The grilled pork Bánh mi missed the mark entirely. There was very little meat and no pâté – for the most part it was a veggie sandwich.

Lastly a bit of unnecessary attitude when picking up our to-go order. I’ve never had a to-go Bánh Mi that put the veggies in the sandwich, instead it’s put in a separate bag so as not to make the bread soggy. That’s fine if Tay Tene does it differently, but the guy who checked us out, when we politely asked where were the veggies for the sandwich, he flippantly said “they’re… in… the… sandwich” (insert implied “duh?” tone). Again, don’t have an issue with the different approach, but the attitude wasn’t necessary.

The single staff should be the owner. As the only one customer, me ordered top pho item eat in and 3 banh Mi to go. 1) I hear microwave usage. Don’t remember seeing slice beef. Beef ball not quite the flavor/ off. Soup alone lighted side flavor 2) Sauce were all packages like ketchup which weren’t enough. 3) Ice coffee were off. Can’t taste the condense milk nor roasted bean. Overly packed with ice. 4) Bread sandwich not so impressive look but will hit it in the evening, fresh or not. Overall, the staff is Vietnamese native and kind. Sadly it is labor shortage. Good luck to the establishment. Update for sandwich. Plain bland. Meat is mushy. Probably microwave too. Discarded all 3 after 4 bites. So sorry .
