It’s good to know there is one more constant in life. No matter how long you are away from Carlinville when you return the taste of Taylor’s Mexican Chili will be the same as the first time you ate it which for me was when I was in Highschool 40+ years ago. It was great chilli then air is great chilli now. The only difference I saw in the bowl I had today and the ones I remember was there was less grease in the chilli which I liked because it was still packed with flavor.

Went there for the first time today. I really enjoyed it. Good food. Great ambiance/decor. If you’re in town, I recommend going here. I’ll definitely go back when I’m in town again.

I had the Butterbean Soup and my husband, the Chili. We took home the Vegetable Soup. It all was so good. Would highly recommend this place and it’s wonderful soups!!
