Some of the nastiest food I have ever tasted. I got the pulled pork plate with Mac and cheese and baked beans. Pulled pork was not fresh and had been sitting. Thick with stringy meat, I couldn’t even take a second bite. The Mac and cheese had sugar in it. Yes, sugar. I don’t know if it was a mistake or if this is how it’s normally fixed, but I almost gagged. The baked beans were inedible as well. I can’t see myself ever patronizing this business again.

My husband and I enjoyed the smoked chicken meal with green beans and coleslaw. It also came with a bottled soft drink and slice of wheat bread and pickle. The plate was $12 and for good reason! I got enough food for 2 🙂 After walking in to order and back out with our hot food in 3 mins straight to a picnic table at the park across the street. We enjoyed our tasty meal while overlooking the Ohio River and train bridge.

Small carryout BBQ place. I have never been disappointed with anything from here! Pork, brisket, potato salad, bbq beans, loaded tater etc. I can’t even remember everything I’ve tried. The portions are big. Loaded tater was good for 2+ meals (pictured without sour cream). They have bottled drinks and bags of chips to go with the plate lunches/dinners. Like any good BBQ place they do tend to sell out before closing time so check on their Facebook or call if you plan to stop by. Locally owned and right across from the park and riverfront.
