I love coming to Taylor’s Cafe. It has such a great hometown atmosphere that really makes you feel like part of the neighborhood. The servers are always friendly and welcoming, and Fanny is especially wonderful.
Since the café came under new ownership, you can really tell they’re putting care into everything. The food is super fresh, delicious, and consistently good. It’s the perfect local spot for breakfast or lunch if you’re in Roxborough. Highly recommend! ☕️

Great little diner! Met a colleague for breakfast. The menu has the usual stuff with a creative options too. I had the salmon scramble with feta. It was a delicious alternative to the traditional ‘bacon and eggs’. Service was spot on too.

Taylor’s is a great greasy spoon breakfast option. Portions are big, prices are good, food is good and service is nice. It’s a really good neighborhood spot to get big portions of good food at a very reasonable price. We love going here!

The food was delicious. I had an omelet, and there was a good-sized list to choose what you wanted in it. The home fries were good too, more like a smashed potato. The only thing that was a turn-off was the slow waiter, and the place could use some scrubbing.

I just moved to Philly and came here with my boyfriend and it was a perfect brunch experience. Our server (can’t remember his name!) was so attentive and kind and gave us suggestions. Everyone else was so friendly! Will definitely be coming back

The service was fantastic! Great team work! You heard everyone talking and communicating. It was really nice to see snd hear actually. They gave us paper and crayons and let us draw and color. My daughter loved the Mickey Mouse pancakes ( they do come with choc chips melted ontop but do not mention it in the the menu. Just a warning for other parents with picky eaters!! I feel like the portions were huge and the prices were really great. Loved it! This is just based on our breakfast experience!

My mom used to work here and I would come all the time as a child. Now I’m about to turn 40 and though the interior has changed the experience was still really nice. And it was great seeing Adam. He used to make me a hamburger before they started serving lunch, I felt like a king.

Our first time here and what a great experience. Justin took care of us and was friendly and personable. Really down to earth. Made great food recommendations and knew about all the dishes we had questions about. The menu is very extensive for breakfast and brings a wonderfully unique touch. Happy to find a Philly restaurant that has ham! Out dishes came out fast and cooked exactly as ordered, but more importantly cooked perfectly. Runny poached egg on my Benedict Taylor, nicely charred Canadian Bacon and a tasty bread underneath. Fresh sized OJ was one of the best I’ve had. Very little pulp and delicious. A great breakfast spot we’ll be coming back to
