The food is good, everything else was bad. The A/C was apparently broke or couldn’t keep up. In the 90 degree heat outside, the inside was no better. The food took significantly too long, and the heat made wait worse. We considered leaving after having paid, but the overpriced food prevented us from walking out (The kid’s meal of chicken nuggets and two sides was almost $8, but I couldn’t tell you for certain because I wasn’t offered a receipt). The Soda machine was also broken so they offered cans.
But, once the food came out, it had great flavor. I didn’t care for the mac ‘n cheese, but everything else was really good (brisket, pulled pork, beans, corn bread, and sweet corn).
I’ll probably give the place a second chance, I’m hoping they were having a bad day.

Great food. The potatoe salad is some of the best I’ve ever had. Portions are good sized. If you want smoked wings get there early they sell out of those quick. The Taylor’s know how to cook BBQ.

We stopped in. Very small place 6 tables and the employee that came to take our order was playing music and was not very friendly. Looks like alot of people coming in and out of the front door to talk to the kitchen staff. $6.50 for a sandwich that had very little meat on it. Bake beans were different and good. Potatoe salad was not good at all.

First time at Taylor’s was good! Ribeye sandwich was delicious and made to order. The baked beans had a molasses sweetness which was a nice surprise. The menu includes chicken and wings, pork, fish, and ribs. He also has a kids menu. The eat-in area is small yet comfortable and complete with a tv for your basketball viewing pleasure. Parking is ample and easy to get into and out of. The owner is accommodating and gracious. Taylor’s is a welcome addition to the restaurant landscape in La Grange.

First time at the Taylor’s spot and it was a fantastic experience all the way around! Customer service was spot on but the food…was as good as barbecue gets! Don’t let the location fool you, this place brings the flavor! Highly recommend. First of many visits to come for us!
