We dont live very close, but we were in the area and stopped in. Saw a couple of regulars walk in, and the waitress already had their drinks ready. They had usher playing, so I liked it. Football on the TV behind the counter. As for the food, the slaw was creamy and AMAZING! Some of the best slaw I’ve had. Potato skins were really good, nacho cheese instead of just shredded. Fluffy waffle fries. Thin tenderloin, but still juicy and flavorful.

Wanted to check out the new menu since Taylor’s re-opened. We were not disappointed in anything. We ordered fried mushrooms and jalapeño poppers for our appetizers to start out with. Man they were really good. The poppers out did the mushrooms and the mushrooms are usually my favorite. The hand breaded tenderloin could melt in your mouth. It was one of the best I have ever had. I ordered the ribeye sandwich that came with mushrooms and onions on it and had it with Texas toast. You could cut it with a fork, it was so tender and perfectly cooked. A order of fries and waffle fries came with our meals and they were also cooked to perfection and not over cooked or soggy. Our server was very sweet and on top of our refills and anything else we needed. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the owners were very nice and outgoing. We will definitely be back. We came later in the evening to avoid the diner rush and we were seated immediately.Bathrooms were well kept and clean. 10/10 all around!

The food was DELICIOUS and the service was outstanding! It was our first time eating here. It won’t be our last. Everyone made us feel so welcome. My husband’s steak was perfectly cooked. The tater skins and my chef salad were the best we’ve ever had.

We have enjoyed Taylor’s with family and friends for over 40 years. The Charcoal grilled ribeye is always a favorite as well as the pork chops. Old school Bar atmosphere with dining area.

As our first time dining here, we heard many great things about their food, especially their steaks. Upon entering, we smelled what could only be described as a smoke pit outside. Inside, the smell was even stronger and just makes you want some good bbq. Inside, it looks like a tavern with the typical bar tables and inexpensive chairs. There were 2 tables when we arrived, but they were finishing up. The server was nice, and when I asked her about the heavenly smoky smell, she said it was their grill.
She told us about their ribs, how delicious they are, and how long they smoke them. My husband got the full rack and a salad. I got the ribeye (medium-rare) a baked potato for my husband and a salad as well. They have ZERO vegetable options, by the way.
It took about 10-15 minutes to get a salad that is made from thinly shredded iceberg lettuce, 2 cherry tomatoes, and one slice of cucumber, about 1/4 of the way full. We ate our salads and I ordered another one, as I hadn’t eaten a thing all day. The server let us sit there for about twenty minutes without checking on us or refills on our drinks (water & a Coke). After thirty minutes, my husband asked about our food order. All the staff were at the counter, socializing. She said that the cook didn’t have any potatoes ready for the day and they were in the microwave???? Almost twenty minutes later, our food finally arrived. My steak looked like a perfect cut, and my husband’s ribs were plentiful. We tried each other’s food. His ribs fell off the bone, and you could see the pink smoked meat. One bite, and you could tell they were completely reheated in the oven. ZERO smoke flavor and the seasoning on them was extremely salty tasting, almost like soy sauce? It was very strange and disappointing. My thick and juicy steak was well done!!!! I was very upset as you could tell they reheated it in the microwave (I guess waiting on the microwaved potato) because once I cut into it, the juices poured out it. You could also taste liquid smoke! I would’ve sent it back, but our server was nowhere in sight, and I had to eat something. After she finally came back to our table (about 15 minutes), I told her about my steak. She said she would’ve gotten me a new one if I had told her…uhhh, if she was around, I most definitely would have asked for a new steak. Such an awful experience and terrible food. Hopefully, no one else will have an experience like ours

We had a family member pass away and needed a place for 30 people to meet in Oakland city with 4 days notice. Their team accepted the challenge. They did a fried chicken buffet with pie that was delicious. We wanted for nothing. Service was amazing, team was so kind, food was great and the room was perfect for us to be together as a family while celebrating our grandmas life. We couldn’t be more thankful and will not forget their hospitality! Oh I almost forgot! We showed up early and they took us early! The best kind of folks there are

Great place eat, check out the menu pictures. I liked all the sports memorabilia all over the walls. Food was good. We had 10 in our party. The staff was nice and never let our drinks get empty. Great customer service. The place was a little hole in the wall but worth the stop.

We had a great time at Taylor’s 2! My Mom, great-aunt, and 2nd cousin went there for lunch last week. My great-aunt loves their breaded mushrooms. I got the 1/4 lb cheeseburger and it was really good. We would definitely go back again!

Taylor steakhouse doesn’t look like much from the outside as you pull into the lot, but it’s bigger than it looks on the inside. Me and 5 of my buddies go out once in a while, we went to Taylor’s. Only one of them ordered steak, they have a limited menu. There’s just one choice for steak on the menu, it’s a pretty good size steak, it cost $27. I’m sorry I don’t know the cut of steak. They also offer pork chops, as well as sandwiches. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, it was huge, a lot of meat, very good. One of the other fellows ordered popcorn shrimp, he said was very tasty. Another ordered a chicken sandwich, grilled, as well as another ordered a Tenderloin sandwich. One also ordered a fish sandwich which looked very good, he said it was, large piece of fish. The basket’s come with slaw and French fries, both were pretty good. The waitress was friendly, helpful and attentive. The 6 of us enjoyed our time there.
