We had a beautiful christmassy breakfast! The staff are so very welcoming and kind, the space is lovely and it’s great have unique dishes to choose from. Food was too good that we forgot to takes pics til the the end. Highly recommend!

We had the most delightful brunch experience at Taylor Sam’s new Bay Head location! As longtime fans of their original Brick location, we were thrilled to discover they’ve expanded to our neck of the woods.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with that same homestyle charm that made us fall in love with Taylor Sam’s in the first place. You can really feel the care and attention that Chef Scott and Dawn put into every detail – from the scratch-made dishes to the genuinely welcoming service.
What truly sets this place apart is how incredibly family-friendly they are. The staff went above and beyond to make my kids feel welcome and comfortable. They were patient, kind, and clearly understand that families are the heart of what makes a restaurant special. It’s so refreshing to find a place where parents can actually relax and enjoy their meal!
The brunch menu offers that perfect blend of comfort food with a creative twist that Taylor Sam’s is known for. Everything is made from scratch with quality ingredients, and you can taste the difference in every bite.
And don’t even get me started on the Hoffman’s ice cream from Point Pleasant Beach – what a perfect local touch! The kids were over the moon, and honestly, so were the adults.
We can’t wait for them to start serving dinner later this year. If their brunch is any indication, dinner is going to be absolutely spectacular.
Taylor Sam’s Bay Head is already becoming our new family favorite spot. The combination of exceptional food, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality makes this a must-visit destination on the Jersey Shore. We’ll definitely be back soon!

What an absolute gem! We had the loveliest girls’ outing at Taylor Sam’s and it did not disappoint. The outdoor seating was beautiful and relaxing—perfect for catching up with friends. The food was incredible. I had the Taco Molly with the perfectly crispy fried shells, and they were truly the best tacos I’ve ever had.
What really made the experience stand out was our server, Devin. He was so kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely proud of the restaurant. You could tell he enjoyed his job, and his service was attentive, efficient, and thoughtful. Devin is a wonderful representation of the business.
If you go, definitely ask for Devin—he’ll make your visit extra special.

A cute place! We were a little concerned after Dune Grass left the location but it looks like a wonderful new spot has moved in. The food was delicious, the portions generous (my husband and I could have easily split a single breakfast), and the service is excellent. Dinner is also not to be missed!

Arrived on a Monday afternoon around 2 PM for a late lunch. I ordered their Melon Baller salad that was supposed to be served with chicken Milanese. The salad had a ridiculously small amount of chicken cut up into tiny little pieces for the size of a toddler….maybe not even 1/4 cup of chicken…. $15.49. My husband‘s cheeseburger was fine… The french fries were so riddled with grease they were inedible. The music was so loud in the dining room. We had to ask three times for it to be turned down. Apparently the staff tiptoes around the manager and couldn’t get the manager to turn the music down. So, we accommodated ourselves outside on the patio. The service was impeccable. I told the extremely gracious, friendly and professional server he needed to move down the street to a upscale restaurant for his effort should be rewarded in a place where he could be proud of the food.
Won’t be back. I should add I have been in the hospitality business for 50 yrs. This was a first.

Stopped by the Thursday of Hurricane Erin with my wife. Staff was so accommodating and friendly towards us and our Golden retriever. Great menu with a lot of elevated breakfast and lunch items. “Matty Rice” is my new go to. Well done Taylor Sams.

I met Ms Dawn this evening due to an unfortunate situation. The power was out in Bay Head NJ and she came up to me as I was passing by to offer free ice cream. She was worried that if the power did not come Mack on fast enough the ice cream would melt and go to waste. As I went into her shop many other people were coming into take advantage of free ice cream. I was blown away by her graceful demeanor and pleasant attitude as she said at least this allows me to do something nice for the community. I assured her I would be back when power is restored as a satisfied returned customer. Totally blown away by her class & generosity.
Okay as I don’t know how to write an updated review for the same location I had to add it to my last one. I have been here several times now for breakfast, lunch, & ice cream. That said on my last visit with family a few days ago we had the most amazing waitress so far. Miss Chelsea was so patient and kind to my elder family members who struggled slightly when ordering. Being in the service industry for over 50 years I know a needle in the haystack when I see one. She gave extreme personable attention to our table and made my family feel special, attending to each of their request with such elegance and always finished with a smile. Taylor Sam’s has now become a family favorite great atmosphere, food and service as far as my experience so far to date. Thumbs up Taylor Sam’s for adding Chelsea to your team!!
