Horrible drinks to start… margaritas pitchers not worth $30. Not worth ordering at all. Food was some of the worst we’ve experienced and that includes Taco Bell. Server was inattentive and took prolonged times to return… only 5 customer in restaurant at the time.
Nachos were the best thing not including the salsa which was too spicy and poorly flavored for the generic offer.

The food is amazing! I’ve only been twice, but will definitely return. On my most recent visit, my order wasn’t right, but they made it correctly on the spot, & gave me the incorrect meal for free. I’m vegetarian, & the black bean burrito, veggie taco salad, & spinach burritos were all very good!

This place has gone downhill fast!! We were seated with chips and what we believed what was supposed to be sauce but was just water that had sauce flavoring and with no one to take our drink order all we could do was just sit and look at the chips and watery sauce. We watched as the table next to us was seated and finished their food when someone came by to take our drink order after staring at our chips for a half an hour while listening to Michael Jackson in the overhead speakers. It gave us that real authentic atmosphere!!.Our cheese dip arrived and there again the dip was so watery that the word “dip” shouldn’t be associated with the dish. Our entre was good but the whole experience was so disappointing that we decided that we would not be returning to what USED to be one of the best Mexican food restaurants for miles around.

This is our go to local Mexican restaurant! They have updated their menu and it now includes more vegetarian options which I was so happy to see. The mushroom quesadilla is great and packed with mushrooms, my partner gets the steak and queso which is also incredible. The portion sizes are always massive, the service is always friendly and fast! They have great margaritas a personal favorite is the mango tango and their draft selection is extensive. I’ve noticed since the Chipotle was built in the parking lot it seems to have slowed down, do yourself and a local business both a favor and choose Taxco you will not only get way better quality food but a better value for your meal.

I come here frequently and enjoy the food! I think the shredded chicken and steak fajitas could be better quality but overall it’s average Mexican food for the area. I enjoy the tacos most and I like the chips and salsa and whoever answers the phone is always sooo nice and friendly! I have never sat to eat so can’t comment on service but the front staff have always been very pleasant to interact with.

Got two orders of the ACP to go. They didn’t put any cheese sauce on it at all which is like the main part of ACP and the salsa was tasteless. It’s like spicy water, not satisfied at all for $37 takeout, would not recommend.

If they offer you any “special” margarita don’t take it. When we asked for a skinny marg, the waitress offered us a “special” marg which she explained was like a skinny marg just made with fresh OG. She forgot to mention that the “special” margs were $20 PER margarita instead of the $10 margs we originally wanted. We didn’t think to ask about price bc even the top shelf marg on the menu was only $14. We left feeling like we were taken advantage of and scammed. Worst part is the $20 margs tasted like juice and we were completely sober.

Super consistent place. Is it the fanciest place in town, no! But honestly, for some reason, they have my favorite enchiladas of all time. It’s something about the sauce that they make in the house. I always get them And those are so good every time.

Very nice staff, very pleasant, helpful and always smiling. I really appreciated that especially as we had a large table with kids. Food was solid and so were the portions. Prices are reasonable. We’ll go back when we are in that area.

The food is always fresh and delicious. The manager is such a nice young man and very polite and friendly. I asked about mojitos the last time there and he told me the following week was bringing them into the restaurant. I went back today and he honor his promise. Awesome, I loved it!
