I had a disappointing experience here. The owner, Abdul, was extremely rude during my visit, and his attitude made the entire interaction uncomfortable. Several other reviewers have mentioned similar behavior, so it doesn’t seem like an isolated incident.

The food itself didn’t justify the high prices. The flavors felt generic, and the overall quality didn’t match what you’d expect for the cost. Abdul should know that he does not run a Michelin-starred restaurant but rather a subpar, hole-in-the-wall place with overpriced food.

If you’re looking for truly well-prepared Pakistani cuisine, I’d recommend places like Bundoo Khan or Khan Saab, where both the food and the customer service are on a different level. I won’t be returning here, and I hope you don’t either.

Went to this Halal restaurant, out of our way, for the first time, because of the recommendation but the overall experience was not good.

The owner is from Afghanistan and has a huge attitude problem! His responses are rude and doesn’t feel like friendly specially when he is busy and you ask him for something simple. Problem is that there is no server here and the owner himself work as a server, order taker, and at the front counter as well. Of course, customers will be asking him for everything and he just can’t handle that and shows his temper. When he is not busy and you talk to him then he will be all friendly and act nice. This is not how he should run a restaurant if he doesn’t want to hire more people.

We ordered a lot of food. Mostly, all of the BBQ items were good as well as Nihari. His food can be spicy even with a mild request, so watch out for that. Naan was good as well.

We ordered chicken biryani and it did not taste good! Felt like it was a day old and did not taste good at all. Ordered paratha and did not like that either. It is much pretty the same as his naan just a fried version of that. This is not how paratha should be.

He brought nihari but no condiments with it. When I asked for it only then he brought in with an excuse that it is only available upon request to avoid any wastage! What? Wastage of few garlic and mint leaves? How about wastage of other food? Should he bring that only upon request also? So many food and there was no salad or anything like that. Again, when I asked for it, his response was, “I have onions, did you want that?” I was shocked yet again and just continued eating to not ruin experience for my family.

Among so many of us, he only brought 1 tray of mix chutneys. When I asked for another one he rudely told me he doesn’t have it and just walked away. This was another shocker as I can clearly see a full set available at another table after the diners left. After a while he came back with a tray with an excuse that one of the chutneys is out. Again, a lie! It is just that he was busy and did not like my request. He brought utensils but no spoons. I had to ask for it and he reluctantly obliged. On the receipt, there was an unlisted service charge automatically added without telling us or our permission. Why not clearly list that upfront instead of sneaking that in?

Overall, I will not go here again because of the poor customer service and nothing special to die for. There are other good food and good customer service restaurants in LA and there is no need to come here and suffer. Owner definitely has to change his attitude if he wants to survive and successful.

My first visit here after reading a lot of good reviews and a very long craving for a good biryani.
We ordered karahi chicken , chicken biryani and garlic naan.
The karahi was good , tender chicken and spices were nice , a bit oily but i guess thats what cooks it .
Biryani was something that disappointed me completely , maybe a wrong batch or something but the rice wasn’t complimenting the chicken , the taste was raw and it didn’t taste like a biryani at all .
I would love to try it again sometime and give it another shot.
The naans are great , goes perfectly with the karahi .

Reason for visiting: lunch with co-workers
Date/time of visit: Friday afternoon
Parking: can be found in the adjacent lot shared with other businesses
Party size: 8
Environment/ambience: relatively empty. Small place. Restroom is relatively clean.
Service: was good. They came around often.
Food: had the Chicken Tikka, which was good. A little spicy. Had the garlic naan, which was good with the sauce from the goat curry.
Cost: not too expensive. Roughly $17/person.

5 stars the food was incredible. Best place for Pakistani cuisine I’ve had in SoCal. I’m from houston so I have a high standard. Naan was very good, and all items ordered were tasty (nihari, goat paya, and seekh kabab).

I live about an hour and a half away from this place and was in Woodland Hills for work. I wanted Pakistani food for lunch today so I googled some places and found this one – I am so glad I did. Everything I ordered was delicious and I loved how spicy It was. I have a favorite restaurant for Pakistani food, but I think this place is now number one for me. It is definitely worth the drive 🙂

Food was great! We had a brunch service with a large group. Nihari was very flavorful and the beef chucks were very enjoyable. Atmosphere was a little basic but the amazing food made up for it. Would definitely come back again!

This has the best Pakistani food in the San Fernando valley. The atmosphere is no too pleasing with menus on the table underneath the glass on the table. The food is very delicious but lacks table service, as the servers are not trained waiters or waitresses who sometimes do not understand English. The owner is very friendly.
