The service was a bit slow, but the food was excellent and the staff very welcoming. The paneer lababdar was flavorful, and the garlic naan was delicious. The appetizers- Aloo bajji and Cauliflower 65, were also tasty. Must try their chikko and mango milkshake. They’re amaazing!

We ordered Andhra chicken curry with garlic naan and goat biryani. The curry and naans were delicious, and the biryani tasted great, though it was served late after a reminder.
The highlight was the unlimited dosa served with chicken curry, coconut chutney, peanut chutney, and sambar. The dosa and chicken curry combo was excellent, but the chutneys could be improved. The staff were super friendly and polite, and the ambiance was decent.

When in Farmington, my go-to spot has always been Kurrys, but one day I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while driving around, just hoping to grab a quick bite. I started with a starter (which I absolutely loved), and that encouraged me to try their naan and kadai paneer and I loved it ! I also tried their gulab jamun, which was a sweet ending to a great meal.
The service was friendly and efficient, which made the experience even better. Since that first visit, I’ve been back a few times and even ordered takeout the food has been consistently good every time. Their naan is fresh and fantastic especially the bullet naan and garlic naan, both of which I’ve totally fallen in love with.
I recently heard they do dosa nights on Thursdays. Hoping to try them soon.
Overall, I’ve tried quite a few dishes by now and enjoyed them all. This place has definitely become my weekend eat-out spot.
Highly recommend!

I ordered a medium spice biryani and what I got was extremely spicy completely opposite of what I asked for. It’s so hot that I can’t even eat it, my mouth is burning. I’m honestly very disappointed. I ordered because I was hungry and tired, hoping for a good meal, and this turned into a nightmare. Really frustrating experience.
Why do you guys do this?

This is one of the best mandis I’ve ever had! It reminded me of the same amazing experience I had at Desi District in Dallas. I might actually get addicted to this place — the rice and juicy meat are just wow! Every penny is totally worth it, yaar. A must-try dish for sure!

I had an unforgettable dining experience at this fantastic Indian restaurant! The highlight of the meal was the mandi biryani – it was incredibly flavorful, perfectly spiced, and packed with tender, juicy meat that melted in my mouth. Every bite was a burst of aromatic spices and the rice was cooked to perfection.

I had chicken tandoori sizzler. It was well made, better than most of the other Indian places over here. It would have been nice if they had provided some rice or naan on side like other places.

I absolutely love this place! I live in downtown Farmington and I usually frequent The House of India. It’s tucked away so I stumbled upon it. It’s clean and the atmosphere is delightfully pleasant. The food was fresh and prefect. The price is great and the server was so pleasant and attentive. I ordered the wrong bread and he did not give me a hassle he just helped me select the correct item.

It was a carry out order and everything was made to perfect. I ordered 9 items and was told that food will be ready in 30 minutes. I went after 30 minutes, and the food was ready. I liked all the curries taste. Aroma and taste of Biryani was very delicious. The only room for improvement is the texture of the naans. Garlic naans were a little harder to chew, but no major complaint.
