The food was really good and portion sizes were great. My husband and I both got the same meal and would have been enough to feed our whole family. The chicken Alfredo is amazing. The meatballs were great. I do however agree with the cilantro comment on one of the previous posts. It was a little off putting, and would have been a whole lot better without it. We will definitely be back.

Let me first say that the food is perfectly acceptable. It isn’t bad at all. But, it isn’t the best ever.
Went on a Thursday night with a companion. At 6pm we were the ONLY customers in the building. Not a good sign. I got the large meatball with red sauce over spaghetti. Companion got a large salad.
My meal was ok. It had a slightly off flavor to it that I couldn’t place. But, I ate everything. Companion didn’t like her salad but there wasn’t any one thing really wrong with it.
In short, this is one of those places where you need to ignore the reviews and just try for yourself. You may like it. You may not.
For us, we’ll probably just stick with Angelo’s in downtown Evansville for good Italian food and atmosphere.
It was nice seeing the inside of Wolf’s again, though! Made me want some bean soup all over again.

I think once they get a good bar tender in here that knows how to make and recommend basic drinks it will be worlds better. Service was okay, food was good. This place has some great potential! I loved the bread and salad. The suace was a little salty but very good. Will definitely be giving it another try.

The restaurant is located in one of Henderson’s oldest businesses, which adds to its atmosphere and charm. The restaurant is family owned, and they go above and beyond to welcome you as their guests. The serving portions of the food were very generous, and the taste was magnificent. Bonus…..everything was made with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend Tavola dei Nonna for your next meal out.

Food was delicious, staff was so friendly and prompt with our orders. We never had an empty glass. Our party was 12 people and we all left absolutely fat and happy! Almost all of us had boxes to take with us too! Fantastic new resteraunt. Cozy and classy Interror as well.

Date night with high hopes turned out badly. This was our first time supporting the local business. We were disappointed to say the least. We ordered the buffet which was “just freshened up”. Everything we tried was inedible. It either had no taste or bad taste. The service was decent but appearances were unkempt for the restaurant atmosphere. The location is nice and the restaurant has potential with aesthetics. Sadly, I do not recommend. I really hope they change some recipes because Henderson needs a good Italian place. I know in the other reviews the restaurant claims it is different from Olive Garden because this is authentic Italian food. My palate is not refined but I can tell you, this is NOT authentic. What’s sad is I agree with the descriptions of the tastes others had as well. Best wishes to the restaurant’s longevity. However, this will be our only visit.
This review is not to be misconstrued as anything other than what it is… a review of our experience.

If you love homemade Italian food, you should stop in here on a Sunday when they serve their buffet. Everything we chose to try was delicious. Don’t expect the sauces we all usually get in a jar. The tomato-based sauces are more robust. Garlic, Oregano, Basil, Olive oil, these flavors all come through to compliment the pasta and other dishes using sauces. The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was my favorite, creamy, lightly seasoned, homemade sauce with tender, grilled chicken. Desserts are so good! We shared 3 of them. Located in a grand old tavern building, red tablecloths, cloth napkins, flowers on tables and the employees are so friendly. I had to ask if the charge on our ticket was correct. Less than $28 for both of us.
