We ate at Tavola for one dinner and two breakfasts while staying at Elliot Park Hotel. This restaurant is phenomenal! I loved the decor. For dinner we had the tomahawk porkchop and short rib – both were absolutely delicious. We also had the french fries. Yum. The brunch is what I can’t stop thinking about, though. We had the churro french toast and the mushroom toast. The mushroom toast was so amazing I had to order it twice. All the staff we encountered were so friendly and kind. Javi was our server for one brunch. He was delightful. I hope to be back here soon!

I took my mom to Tavola for her 75th birthday, and it was wonderful. We ordered from the Foraged menu—splitting the burger and fries, a delicious sausage, and enjoying two great cocktails. The restaurant was beautiful and perfectly fit the theme.

The highlight was our server, Ivan. In just his first month, he knew the menu inside and out and was warm, attentive, and genuinely fun to talk with. He even surprised my mom with a complimentary dessert that was creamy and delicious. Thank you to Tavola and Ivan for making the day so special.

We went to Tavola for their Foraged pop up in winter of 2025.
We are an amazing experience from our detailed server to our absolutely delicious specialty meals, app, and drinks.
The decor and ambience was beautiful and set the tone for a nice night out.
I had the venison, he had the duo of duck. We also had the beef tartare (not pictured) and two awesome drinks.
We will be returning soon!

Exceptional Service and Flavorful Dishes

Tavola was a highlight of our time in Minneapolis. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, and the service was outstanding, Mike went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well cared for.

The Caesar salad was easily one of the best I’ve had, fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed with anchovies. The pizza was good overall, with a nice texture and solid dough, quality pepperoni, though it could benefit from a bit more salt to bring out the full flavor and enhance the crust. The cheesecake was a perfect finish, rich, creamy, and indulgent without being too heavy.

Whether you’re staying at the Elliot Park Hotel or just passing through the area, Tavola offers a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

Drinks were almost too good! We had their Bloody Mary and The Gilded Frame. Keep in mind these are $16 each. The food was amazing, and for lunch, it was the perfect portion size. The staff was friendly and professional.

This restaurant is very inviting and comfortable and the food was delicious across the board for our group of eight. We lunched. The service was very attentive. There were too many interesting choices, that I had a difficult time deciding… Had the salmon club sandwich and it was quite delicious. My co-workers were raving about the endive salad. Reasonable prices and close to a lot of downtown.
We’ll go there again for sure.

15 minutes to be acknowledged, 15 minutes to get coffee, but forgot the water. 15 more minutes to take our food order, and at least 30 to get breakfast to the table. Server never came back to table to refill coffee or ask how food was. People were finally getting their own coffee from the hotel lobby instead of waiting, which by the way was free. Coffee in restaurant was $6! Everyone in the restaurant was waiting an extremely long time for service of any sort. If I didn’t have a breakfast credit we would have walked out. Luckily the food was good.

I was hoping to really enjoy this restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not exactly live up to my expectations.
The pasta wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t something to get too terribly excited about. (It’s still better than something like Olive Garden).
The atmosphere is contemporary yet cozy, but unfortunately the service was pretty bad.
Our waiter was nice, but it took probably upwards of 35-40 minutes to get our food. Food which in the end was not totally worth it.
The mocktails weren’t bad though.

I had a great dinner here a few weeks ago with my wife! The service was phenomenal. The food was even better. Coming back for sure!

They mentioned their holiday pop-up event called forged, which sounds super cool. Will definitely be back to check it out. Thanks to the Tavola team for a great evening!

Recently celebrated an anniversary here! The food was delicious. We had the calamari, rigatoni, steak, fries and broccolini. We appreciate our waiter, Edgardo and Elliott the manager for giving us a great celebration!
