We went to this fantastic Taverna on a recommendation from Claudio (a local man who was our tour guide today). The food was soooo good and the staff was wonderful. And it has the BEST restaurant restroom I’ve been to in Italy so far. It was a decent size, bright, clean and there is a toilet SEAT. As a female I appreciated the restroom as I’ve become hesitant going into restaurant restrooms during this trip. We began our trip in Venice and are working our way south. I had Lasagna, my husband had Penne and we shared wonderful Bruschetta. I enjoyed a yummy drink called ‘Pussyfoot’. I highly recommend this restaurant as it was ‘perfecto’.

Fantastic view just off sorrento busy area makes it easier to get reservation. One of the best restaurants for food and service. Prices are very reasonable for quality food and cocktails. Went for dinner and lunch.

The best Italian cuisine we ever had in our month-long travel across Italy. Excellent food, extremely friendly casual vibe. We dined here every day and we were never tired of their olive oil garlic pepper pasta and ravioli. Cooked to perfection, always served with compliments and great smiles! Everything we ordered came out super delicious. After a long day of excursion exploring nearby towns, our favorite recovery is to come here, have a hearty meal of great food, try new desserts, and have a wonderful chat with our hosts. We are going to come back whenever we are in town. We’ve tried a few other fine dining places at much pricier ristorante, the ones that requiring reservations with dress codes, and nothing ever come close to what we have in Taverna Sorrentina. Dolce vita is here.

You will not be sorry. Ask to hear their specials, because my husband ordered it and we both agreed that it was the yummiest dish.

The Lasagna is amazing. Watched them debone a fish with such elegance and ease. I was in awe. Every bite you heard someone say this is amazing. Their Lemon dessert so good is a heavier dessert, not a light end of night dessert. Think decadent, rich, creamy – And well worth every bite. The lemon candies on the top (wow)! The view is magnificent. The staff make the experience you won’t forget. They went above and beyond to accommodate every need. We will return when we are back in Sorrento!

The best quality to price ratio restaurant my husband and I enjoyed while on our honeymoon in Sorrento for a week. We went back a second time during our trip for that reason. It’s also an authentic atmosphere with genuine and friendly staff. I loved the Ravioli. During our trip, I tried tiramisu at a few places, and it was the most delicious here. It also happened to be the best price. Their house red wine was a bit too sweet for my palate, but they have many other great options on their wine list. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the draft beer. We were also given complementary limoncello at the end of the meal!

The service was outstanding; they welcomed us back like old friends on our second visit and even remembered our drink order from the first. Taverna Sorrentina has such a great vibe. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Food was amazing—everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor.
