Fantastic service! We enjoyed the calamari, burrata, and I had the “Rosario’s Special”, all turned out great.

We Loved Taverna Sorrentina! The restaurant is gorgeous with a vibe which is fun, vibrant, and cozy. Best of all the food was Exceptionally prepared with fresh, authentic Italian flavors. We ordered every course on the menu and each one Delish. Very Different than other Italian restaurants in Danville which we really enjoyed. The cocktails were balanced and definitely complimented our meal. 5 stars all around! I would have liked a little more seasoning across the dishes, but this was minor when compared to the Freshness of ingredients. We’ve visited Italy several times++ and I really felt and tasted the authenticity of the food. Loved It!!

It was such a pleasant evening last night. There were 4 of us and really enjoyed the ambiance out on the heated patio. The touch of having those beautiful blankets on all the chairs to use was a special touch. While my main entree was not as expected, due to my own failure of not asking what was in the sauce, they did not charge me for my meal, even though I would have been more than happy to have paid for it since it was my fault , again, a superior way to run a business. I look forward to our next dinner there, quite an impressive staff.

Needs improvement. All the great reviews had be excited so we booked it for a double bday lunch and was quite disappointed by the service. They had a large group so maybe that is why but some of the food was good but some was subpar (sandwich/gnocci is totally premade or frozen). Calamari was good.
Additionally:
-didnt mention or care about special occasion
– we had to ask two times just the get enough menus to even order
– they brought the little kids food last and it was wrong. Didnt bother to say anything since the kid had already waited too long.
Might be a staffing issue that day but not what I expect for a 300 dollar lunch
