Highly recommend this place! Great NY style pizza. We got the Maradonna pizza, and some cheese slices. The team there was also super friendly and helpful. Also great atmosphere inside, great decor. Definitely worth a visit, great food. Definitely coming back soon!

First things first: STELLAR pizza! Best I’ve ever tried (unseating my previous favorite). It’s definitely pricey but you’re paying for quality. My group ordered their vodka sauce pizza and the prosciutto+burrata pizza. The former got us talking. The latter was so good that it stopped us from saying anything more than ‘Wow!’ Or ‘Oh my God.’ Ingredients seemed fresh and vibrant, the crust was thin and crisp in exactly the way an NYC pie should be. For a nice half hour we were transported to a world where nothing mattered but pizza. If you’re eating in-house; try the pepper oil!
The location was packed when we got there, had to wait to find a place to sit. Fortunately we did get a table before our pies were ready. Either order to go or be prepared to wait. Hopefully they can find a location with more seating room in the future. They deserve it!

If you’re looking for the best pizza in Salt Lake City, stop searching and go to Taverna Pizza. This place absolutely nails it. The crust is perfectly crisp with that ideal chew, the ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and every pie is clearly made with serious attention to detail.
The Sweet Heat Pie is next level. The balance of sweet and spicy is unreal — just enough kick to keep things interesting without overpowering the flavor. It’s one of those pizzas where you finish a slice and immediately reach for another.
Great atmosphere, awesome staff, and consistently amazing pizza. Taverna isn’t just good… it’s 10-star good. Easily one of my favorite spots in Salt Lake.

My friends and I were a bit hesitant to go here because of the prices ($24–$37 for a whole pizza is a bit steep), but we wanted to give it a shot before completely writing it off. Honestly, it was a great decision. The New York–style pizza is the closest thing we have to an authentic NYC pizza place in Salt Lake.
We sat down at the bar and ordered a drink, but the person who took our order seemed to have forgotten about us within five minutes. We don’t hold it against him, though.
Overall, a 4.5/5 experience. Aside from our drinks never coming out and the pizzas being on the pricier end, the pizza itself was great, and the interior is very laid-back and intimate. I can easily imagine this being a great spot after skiing or late at night.

Amazing gem! The atmosphere is relaxing and the earthy interior design is stunning. The food is next-level—we tried the Prosciutto and Burrata pie, and the crust and sauce were perfection. Easily the best pizza in SLC. I can’t recommend it enough!

The pizza is top notch. If this place doesn’t blow up, then I will be disappointed. We had the pruccuto and barrata pie. The crust is light airy, the sauce is well balanced. When preparing the pie they picked fresh basil. This is not just a cozy neighborhood pizza joint because Utah pizza is not fantastic. This is something more. I can wait to see how the add in deep dish and sicilian pies the thier arsenal.
