Our rehearsal dinner at Taverna was truly unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm, inviting, and absolutely perfect for bringing our closest friends and family together. They accommodated our group of 45 with ease. The atmosphere was perfect, it felt like a dinner party with our friends and family. It was so nice to have a whole room to ourselves!
And the food… wow!! Every single dish was incredible. It felt like it was never ending, and all of it was delicious. All of our guests were just as impressed as we were. The menu felt elegant but also approachable. Just last week I had a guest mention “those bacon wrapped dates from Taverna” and its been months since our event! It’s rare to find a spot where everyone leaves raving, but Taverna absolutely nailed it.
The staff made the night even more special. Ben and Tai were phenomenal. They were so attentive, kind, and on top of everything. Our glasses were never empty, no one went without something they needed, and the service felt so personal. Taverna also went above and beyond in ways we didn’t expect. They decorated the tables beautifully and even surprised us with a welcome sign, which meant so much. Cody was amazing throughout the entire planning process. He was communicative, easy to work with, and genuinely invested in making sure the night was something we’d remember. They even offered us their TV for a slideshow, which was such a fun and personal touch.
If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a rehearsal dinner or any special event, book Taverna without hesitation. They made the night before our wedding even more than everything we’ve ever dreamed of.

This restaurant hit us just right. We were hungry after a day on the slopes, and we very much enjoyed our meal. We first shared an order of dolmades (they were delicious) and for our main dish, we order the lamb chops and the bowl with gyro. Portions are copious and everything was tasty.

Quick lunch stop at flagstaff (on the transit)- family of 4 including 2 kids. Portions were good size and food was fresh from kitchen. We had gyro, pizza, salad and kebobs- all yum!

Want to start with the fact that I’m not even from Arizona but without a doubt I’ll be going here the next time I visit.
The food was amazing and everything we ordered was phenomenal. I also will appreciate great customer service as well as recommendations from the servers and I’d like to give a big thanks to Madi our server. She was polite, responsive and we will all come back because of how great she was!
PS. Madi recommended a fig vodka cocktail I think and whatever it was we had loads of them so it’s highly recommended!!

We were seated quickly, and the hostess and waitress were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered, and our food came out hot in a reasonable amount of time. The chicken was tasty, and the lemon risotto was cooked perfectly w the right amount of lemon. The spinokopita was flakey with a creamy feta and spinach filling. (we ate it so fast we didn’t take a picture) we bought the baklava to go, can’t wait to eat it!
Shocker! When I got home, there was an 8% surcharge on my bill!! What up with that? No mentioned this..8%? I understand a surcharge for using a credit card but 8%. That’s not the way you treat a customer that you want to return.

The food I ordered to go from Tavern Moderno Mediterranean was absolutely delicious. Every bite felt fresh and flavorful, and I loved how many different sauces came with the meal, they really elevated everything. I was especially happy I chose the salad on the side; it was fresh, satisfying, and paired perfectly with the sauces. Such a great, well-balanced meal that I’d gladly order again.

The food was good and the service was excellent. We were a group of 12, celebrating a promotion, and they gave us the parlor, their private event space. It was great for our needs. The kids had a lot of room to be themselves. The adults could actually have conversations. Nice!

excellent food and excellent service! upon arriving, we were greeted right away and seated in a very large and beautiful corner booth. Luke who was our server was very pleasant, prompt, and knowledgeable about the options available. we enjoyed falafel and the hummus plate with pita bread as appetizers. for entrees, he enjoyed the taverna bowl with gyro meat and she enjoyed the harissa honey salmon. for dessert, we ordered the baklava- and it was amazing! it paired perfectly with a cup of coffee! all of the food was presented beautifully and the portion size was generous. the restaurant had lots of seating but was very spacious looking at the same time. it was also very clean and a light hearted but elegant atmosphere. it was a great dining experience!

Food and service was excellent. As always it was just an impulse stop to try something different. Except for the annoying people We were seated next to, everything else was fantastic. They offer a good selection of wines but I enjoyed the Passion Tea. The Chicken Parmesan with garlic noodles was very savory and delicious. We had the chicken for an appetizer with no sauce and it was very delicious also. For dessert, I tried the baclava which didn’t disappoint if you were craving something sweet afterwards. I would go back and try other dishes, it’s worth the time to experience new things.

Ripoff! Found 8% undisclosed “surcharge” on my credit card receipt after I paid the bill. Probably explains why the restaurant and bar was mostly deserted on a Saturday night at 7:30…the peak dining hour. Food was mediocre, my chicken Parmesan was large slab of breaded deep fried chicken brushed with tomato sauce on bed of unseasoned pasta. Chicken was edible, dry pasta without sauce was not. Definitely my worst dining experience during three nights of eating out in Flagstaff.
