My son and I stopped in here on a whim not knowing anything about the menu or atmosphere and I’m so glad we did. The staff was kind and attentive and the food was excellent. We both got a chicken sandwich and sat outside with a beautiful view of the course. I highly recommend eating here after a day on the course!

My son and his friend visited Tavern on the Trail today and were completely ignored by the service staff. Despite multiple attempts to get assistance, they were never acknowledged or served. Being acknowledged is the bare minimum of customer service in any restaurant. Unfortunately, they left without being served, which is unacceptable.

This restaurant is delectable! I’m not gonna lie, I was skeptical at first because we had to wait 45 minutes to get our food, but our skepticism quickly changed after tasting our meals. We had a wonderful server who did a great job, the people at the tavern were lovely and the food was better than any tavern food I’ve had before. It was worth the price and worth the wait! We will be eating here again.

We dined at Tavern on the Trail for the first time recently and had a very nice dining experience. Other than not giving us her name, our server was friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty. My wife had the Chicken Caesar Wrap with green beans and was especially pleased by the preparation of the green beans, which were nicely seasoned. I had their Right Turn Burger with Cajun Fries. Not sure I’ve ever had red pepper jelly and cream cheese on a burger before, but it was a tasty combination. The atmosphere has a sports bar feel to it. Looks like they have a nice outdoor seating area for when the weather warms up.

I’ve only been once and everything was great .. service, food and atmosphere so I plan on going back and if it holds up I’ll bump it to 5 stars for sure. I will be posting again to update.
