I had dinner here the other night and today am enjoying lunch out on the patio while the band plays. Gorgeous view, relaxing atmosphere. Our server Rich was so friendly and pleasant. Highly recommend this place!

Had a solid lunch with some drinks and nachos. Rich was our server: super hospitable, friendly, would love him as our server at any restaurant! Asked the bartender Neil about a few spirits and he was very knowledgeable and friendly as well. Great patio music from Tim & Taylor. Will definitely come back in the winter!

Great atmosphere and the service was great. We only got a few snacks and drinks. The staff is profesional and friendly. The food was good, but the wings were the best. The flatbread pizza was okay at best- the nachos were yummy.

Sadly overpriced for the quality of food and made worse by the lack of waitstaff. Had the worst dessert ever. Ordered the smore cheesecake and could not eat it. The marshmallow square was so hard we could not cut into it at all. It was obvious the dessert was made and left sitting for a long while, enough so that the marshmallow was rock solid. Hot chocolate is made with water and pretty sure it’s a prepackaged powder. Our waitress was very nice and apologetic for the poor experience and we could tell she was overwhelmed. $30 nachos were terrible, served cold and the tortilla chips were stale. Save a few bucks and go somewhere else. Sadly not worth it here.

Tavern on the square is a must stop for lunch, dinner, or just to grab a drink and enjoy the amazing view. The food, the drinks, the live music, and the service are on point! We enjoyed a late lunch after attending the Vail Farmers Market. Choosing Tavern was a spur of the moment decision but one we didn’t regret. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed a great view of the base of the mountain. The service was prompt, courteous, and very helpful in assisting us with our menu selections. The food was excellent including it’s presentation. We would return in a heartbeat.
