From the moment we entered we loved the place. Hospitality was a 10+. Our server Rebecca was very attentive and everything everyone had was beyond delicious. Highly recommend the Korean ribs with rice ball and coleslaw

Food was excellent
Service was great
Facility was nice and spacious with some outdoor seating and a backyard
Appetizer roasted corn dip was great. Onion soup was great too
I had the fish and chips which was breaded and fried trout my girlfriend had the roasted chicken both were delicious. Overall very nice place the service was great too. We will definitely be going back to try the other dishes on the menu

Great!! The food was incredible—each dish a true masterpiece. The appetizers were fresh and bursting with flavor, while the mains were cooked to perfection with rich, balanced seasoning. The steak was tender, and the pasta had the perfect texture. Desserts were decadent without being overly sweet.

We had such a wonderful experience here! I have traveled extensively across the US and Europe the last 4 years, and this was the best meal I’ve had!! Prepared perfectly, the almond trout with vegetables and sage brown butter was sooo good. And the Brussels sprouts were spot on. Not overdone, yet so much flavor. And, simple fresh ingredients (so refreshing!) Thanks, Chef John and wonderful staff! Can’t wait to come back when I visit again : )

We had the best meal out in a restaurant that we have had in a very long time. We chose the Mexican Street Corn dip for our appetizer and let me just say it was amazing! My husband had the Penne a la Vodka which he said was excellent and I had the La Belle Pan Roasted Chicken with mashed and vegetable. When I ordered the chicken the waiter advised the dish takes 30 minutes to prepare I was fine with that and let me say it was well worth the wait, likely the best chicken dish I have ever had. The skin was crispy, the meat was tender and very flavorful and the mashed potatoes were delicious. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the decor appealing and the wait staff attentive and kind. If Tavern on Main is on your list make the trip.

The Beaverkill trout really delivered and left such an impression. Perfectly cooked, dusted in almond flour, garnished with perfectly-toasted slivered almonds, and finished with fresh sage brown butter. The fish was piled high on top of even more perfectly cooked fresh vegetables of the day—rainbow carrots, spaghetti squash, and broccolini. We learned the trout was as fresh as could be, which Chef John himself picked up on his way to work today. Also, the Brussels sprouts just rocked…bright green, pan-fried in cast iron, still slightly crunchy, and not deep-fried or drenched. Quality and portion size were outstanding. Even after dining at such haute cuisine in the Manor, Narrowsburg and Callicoon, this was the best and most satisfying dinner I’ve had in Sullivan County. Compliments to the chef, and thank you to the lovely staff! Such great value, too. Can’t wait to return!

This is a great spot to eat and it never disappoints. Haven’t been there in a while because we live in the city. Tonight we had the tavern burger, tavern mac and cheese and I tried 2 of the specials. Beef barley soup and brisket sandwich which is probably the best brisket I’ve had in a very long time. The soup was very tasty and the brisket was full of flavor. It was topped with arugula, some sort of dressing and thinly sliced purple onion. It was outstanding.

Best tavern (actually…one of the best restaurants I’ve dined in) upstate. Great staff!!! Lovely atmosphere, so cozy. Delicious, fresh, uniquely flavored and prepared takes on tavern classics… and then some. We got the mac & cheese, the grilled fish, & the ribs.

We first visited on our arrival in the Catskills. Enjoyed so much that we returned twice more in a week. Excellent quality and diversity. I had a chicken sandwich, chicken marsala and the Korean BBQ ribs. All distinctively good. My wife liked their harvest bowl so much she ordered it all three times!

We enjoyed our dinner, service was friendly and good, was on our bucket list for years and glad we finally got to do it. I had the steak with fries and my friend had the trout. Both were tasty. Place was clean. We parked onstreet. Recommend trying it out.
