Stopped in to try the fish fry. Overall it was good. The fish was a little overcooked and the home made chips did not taste fresh. You do get enough to fill you up. The cocktails were very good.

The food was average at best. I was asked how I wanted my stark sandwich cooked and I watched the cook pull out a frozen steak and place it on the flat top grill. I’m pretty sure you can’t cook a a frozen steak medium rare. We did go on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the music was so loud, I couldn’t talk with my wife.

Good food and drink selection. Friendly bar staff. I did not appreciate the political signs for a republican candidate for Wisconsin Supreme Court. The front windows alone had 8 signs plastered on the inside.

Outstanding staff and clientele. Everyone is friendly and the food is fantastic. This tavern is clealry a step up from the local establishments. If you haven’t been by yet please stop in and have a cold one. You wont be disappointed. From great whine to hand muddled old fashions and cold beer, your drinks are served with a smile and a thank you. If you happen to stop in on a Friday I highly recommend the fish fry. The blue gill is the best Ive had hands down. This is definitely the nicest establishment in the Mt Pleasant, Caledonia and Franksville area.

My husband and I met another couple for drinks on a Friday night. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. The place itself is clean and fairly recently remodeled. When our friends suggested this place, the name suggested that we were going to be entering a country dive bar. I was pleasantly surprised! Next time we’ll have to try the food!

Let me tell you what I like about this establishment, it’s very clean and fresh. This is a place you could bring your family to, have a meal and some adult beverages. The music is soft that you can have a conversation without having to shout at one and another. Our server, Jori, was fantastic. The eats were prepared as ordered and arrived hot to the table. Great atmosphere, looking forward to sitting on the patio when the weather warms.
