To my mind this is simply the best bar burger in Berrien County; bacon and cheese deluxe with everything. The staff is super friendly and the prices are ridiculously low. Rumor has it that this is also the place where Tommy Shaw of Styx wrote the song ‘Too Much Time on My Hands’ waiting for his wife who was a Niles, Michigan girl. There’s no plaque but if you watch the music video for the song, you can see it. The Tavern is good, fast and cheap. Try it! You’ll love it…

Its not the easiest place to get a wheelchair through, but the food and the service was top notch. My daughter ordered me a bacon cheeseburger, and it was phenomenal. Our server I believe was working all by herself. She was amazing.

Stopped here for dinner while i as in town and had one of their pork tenderloin sandwich’s which was amazing. I have had this sandwich elsewhere and it was either dry or way too big . This sandwich was a perfect size and I also added fries. the fries were done to perfection which I haven’t had a perfect fry in a while. The server we had was very personable and funny and took my humor with a smile and I loved her attitude. I will come here every time I am in town. The price was was less than I would have paid, price very fair
