I ordered a cup of chowder. Great bargain for Boston at $7.00. Great service. Waitress was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Good ambiance. The Sam Adams Pumpkin Spice Lager with Cinnamon Sugar rim was delicious. However, the chowder was terrible. Very milky, the potatoes were crunchy, and practically no clams. Very Disappointing.

Inside South Station, this centrally located mini-restaurant has good food served fast, a full bar, friendly servers, sports on tv, and a screen behind the bar that has the Commuter Rail departures to keep you on time.

Warm and welcoming tavern! Huge beer selection. Service is great! Perfect way to pass time, meet people while you wait for your train. Highly recommend. Reasonably ♿️ accessible!

I was waiting for friends, and ordered a cup of chowder. The waitress was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was quiet, with good ambiance. The chowder was terrible! Milky, potatoes were crunchy, and there were hardly no class. Very disappointing, but the price was decent for Boston: $7.00.

The chicken cesar wrap ($13) was just what I needed as a quick meal before I head off to Logan Airport.

It came out in about 2 minutes and the wrap was nice and warm. It was a good size with tons of lettuce in it and it wasn’t ruined with too much dressing.

There wasn’t much chicken in it as expected, but the chicken was luckily not tough or chewy.

My server was very nice.

I’m giving them a 4 instead of a 5 because the taste was okay.

This is an interesting location, bang in the middle of the departure area, where everyone is scurrying around waiting for a train. This isn’t a great atmosphere to sit down to dinner, because everyone can look inside and it’s noisy as a departure lounge should be; if you come for that, you’ll be disappointed. This is where you grab a bite and a pint as you wait. One brilliant move: they have a camera pointing towards the announcement board, so you can sit in the pub and see the upcoming departures without having to get out and peek — whoever thought of this deserves a promotion !

They do a very good job given the space constraints. The day I visited there was only one person working the floor, and although she had a lot to do, she did it with a smile. The lady at the bar let me sip one before I ordered a pint. This Cambridge ale was very good if you like amber beers. Their selections of draught beers is very good, and they have a selection of cocktails. Two ladies seated next to me try martinis and they seemed pleased.

SUMMARY: Great service, very good selection of beers and something to nibble on as you wait 20 feet away from the platforms. Extremely convenient!

I commend the effort to have an enclosed space to eat/drink and relax before taking a train. I ordered guac and chips-to be honest, it was kind of undersalted, not enough lime, the chip/guac ratio was way off (too many chips). The service was good. The seating is a bit tight so if you have big suitcases it may be hard to find a seat that doesn’t result in you blocking off another table with your suitcase. I felt like I was being rude with my 3 bags. If your wait is long, consider staying here until your train boards. If your wait is 30 mins or less, just wait outside and/or get something from the other locations at the station.

A great place to eat if waiting for your next train or want something quick before heading off to your hotel… And the prices are TRAVELER FRIENDLY!!! TSQ is not here to break your pockets like most transportation hub eateries… The portions could be a little bigger but to be honest the portions are enough if waiting for a train or bus that you don’t have to worry about a To Go box.

They also had the BEST guacamole I have ever had in a long time for a small amount of money…

I might have to grab and early train next time just for an excuse to eat there!

Good place for a quick drink and bite when waiting for the train.
Pizza is a misnomer it’s more like a flatbread.
Buffalo wings were delicious.

Great place to just sit and have a drink while waiting for your train. It tries to feel like a bar but there is no mistaking that you are in the middle of a train station, and there is even a track and schedule board hanging behind the bar. Overall I enjoyed myself and got to my train on time. I did not rate food because I just got a drink and my drink was good.
