Wow! What a phenomenal experience, staff were very professional and attentive! Not to mention, drinks were strong & amazing. I ordered the fish and chips and was not disappointed — very yummy; crispy, and flavorful! 🙂 the sweet potato fries were a little burnt, nothing sauce can’t fix though. I dined at the bar, the drinks were fantastic!! the two gentlemen serving around 10pm on 1/24/26 really did their thing! I came here on a whim and they earned their respect, I would recommmend this place 100% ☺️

If you’re looking for a DELICIOUS meal… this is the place to go! Great for date nights or a lunch/ dinner with the family. Our first visit to this restaurant and I am VERY impressed. Food was PHENOMENAL! We got the fried pickles to start which had great flavor, and for our meals we had the bayou chicken pasta and the steak and cheese crunch melt. Everything could NOT have been better all the way down to the ranch itself. Atmosphere was great although we were sat on the outdoor seating area and was kind of cold but even then, the service and food were 10/10. You won’t regret making this “your new spot”

This is definitely a beautiful Sports Gastro Pub. Lots of seating, lots of TV’s, and great menu with plenty of burgers, pizza, and apps. I got the Korean Chicken Sandwich, it was huge, crispy and tasty. I was disappointed in the slaw on the sandwich, no tang or spice. The parmesan garlic fries were incredible and I’m no fry guy. I’m definitely going to give this place another try, especially during Football season.

Check your bill before you pay. I went here four times in two weeks for work dinners and the bill was only correct one time. If you order happy hour food or beverage, 75% of the time it was charged at full price. Very disappointing. Atmosphere is really loud if busy – no walls to buffer/absorb sound. The main benefit is the food was excellent.

Solid place for drinks, games, and even family meals!
We came here on a weeknight for dinner with 4 adults and 2 toddlers. Previous reviews had me hesitant for how it would be with toddlers and let me put your fears at ease that it was fine! Bring ’em!
We were seated in a back booth and all fit easily. (Much preferred thank you! So the kids didn’t bother anyone) Our server was super nice, friendly, and funny.
All our food was delicious and good portion size. The kids mac and cheese was legit like a whole box.
Food did take a little longer to come out than anticipated. We also had a question about one of the veggie bowl ingredients that we could not identify and 2 servers came over to check it out and joke about it, but honestly we wish they would’ve just asked the kitchen for the answer. Kids meal was a bit pricey as well as one of the specialty lemonades, but it’s West Hartford by the mall, so we get it.
Glad to see a good new place with an option for everyone! Seriously impressed how big it was inside!

My wife and I visited this place for lunch last week, and I have to give me honest review:
1.
There were booths open and we requested a booth, but the hostess said there no booths available, I understand, probably not enough servers, but there is always a server that can take a table where the customer wants to seat.
2.
The waitress paid no attention to our drink order, my wife ordered sparkling water with a lime and I asked for a DIET COKE,
the waitress came back with no lime, and regular coke. I had to ask her again to bring me a diet coke, which she took a while get it back on the table.
3.
We asked for nachos, my order and my wife’s order, literally we waited 45 minutes for our main course tom come out.
The waitress brought our food out and I had to remind her of the nachos.
Her excuse was that the cooks received the order late (makes no sense, while other new customers were getting their appetizers very quick)
4.
The waitress never came back to check on us, to see if we needed another drink or something for our food.
The food is good, I would definitely go back for the food, their great menu selection makes you hungry just looking at it, but it definitely left me thinking of the wait staff, I’m sure not every server is like the one that served us.
I would probably give it another chance but not any time soon.

We had such an amazing experience, especially thanks to our waitress Diana! It was our first time here, and she made it unforgettable. Even though we were her last table of the night, she was so kind, attentive, and never rushed us. She made great recommendations and made us feel really welcomed. Had a wonderful lunch yesterday. Thank you for giving free meals to Veterans on Veteran’s Day. And we have eaten here several times for lunch and dinner in the past. We began with the Bang, Bang Broccoli. It is one of our favorites! We had the Bayou Pasta that is my husband’s favorite dish. And he said it was even better yesterday. I had the honey lime salmon that came with rice and green beans and crisp quinoa. It was very good. It is a nice and relaxing place and the server was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. We also got a steak and cheese crunch wrap with french fries to go and it was delicious when heated hours later. The restaurant was busy and it has a relaxing atmosphere. It’s a nice place with a good menu and we will return often.

Went here for a happy hour with my coworkers since it was close to our company. We had requested a seat outside at the patio, but were told that we were told by our waitress that we were not allowed to sit outside during happy hour if we wanted the happy hour specials, which was a shame because it was a beautiful day. We got a bunch of appetizers to share and it was a descent, but nothing mind-blowing for the price. The cocktails were good, but my coworker was disappointed that the bartender didn’t muddle their drink properly. The night that we went there were only two waiters on duty so we had to wait a substantial amount of time and unfortunately our waitress wasn’t able to get to us for long stretches of time. She was very friendly, but regardless of her good service we probably wouldn’t come here again.

Tavern in The Square is our favorite restaurant from afar because we had the location in Boston and fell in love with it. We took a road trip to CT just to get our favorite gluten free foods. Tavern is awesome due to the variety of gluten free options for my spouse.
Our go-to is the delicious dilly taste fried pickles. Wings with honey siracha on the side (didn’t want to get sloppy that day lol) Cornflake Fried Chicken Tenders with Bang Bang sauce on the side is the way to go, if you haven’t fried chicken for awhile.
I’ve given this location 4 stars because they were out of fish and chips and that just means we will make another roadtrip!
