Went there today with my wife…second time going there. Food was really good, our server Giana (I think) was very personable and attentive. I got the crispy ranch chicken with tots and she got the hot honey chicken stack. This place has made it into our rotation.

I had a wonderful waitress, sell me two gift cards for my mom for . They are having an excellent promotion right now but you get a scratch ticket and an extra gift card definitely works that scratch ticket. I want a free appetizer and the two bonus gift cards will be great because my mom loves this place. Thanks again to the waitress, She was very professional and friendly. Tables are small even when I had a one week reservation. I showed up on time but gave them the asked for ten min call just in case. I ended up waiting 15 mins til I was seated. Not cool!! Food was mediocre stick to the fish and chips but go during the week. On the weekends they give you smaller portions. The steak was way over cooked but still ok. I wanted (medium rare) which should still moo but this cow looked like bacon. Haha Anyways they do make great drinks. I’m not a drinker but for Valentines took one on and wasn’t disappointed. Something with pineapple can’t go wrong. Would I come here again for a special occasion like Valentine’s Day? Absolutely NOT! Haha to noisy not romantic and elbow to elbow uncomfortable. They do have very limited booths which looked cozy. I would go for drinks and fish and chips. But not a special celebration day. That’s just keeping it real, the waitress was outstanding wish I could remember her name. Very attentive more than I’ve ever seen and this place was busy. Why? Hmmmmm the fish and chips! lol

Went on Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend. Had a great experience Nikki our server was on top of everything without being at the table too long. She made sure our experience was excellent. I even made a mistake in My order and her manager and her sent me home with a corrected meal.

It’s ok. I find it to be supremely overpriced for what you get. I may be in the minority on this one. Lots of people like it. I think they think they like it. The atmosphere is cool and people tell them it’s good so you have to think it’s good. I feel it’s overrated at best. The service is okay. Food is overpriced for what you get. It’s not bad food. It’s ok to good but for the price the value is terrible. They reuse the bang bang sauce on everything. It’s a good sauce but when 4 gallons is put on everything it waters it down heavily. The chicken sandwich with that sauce on it is great, but the 42 LB of bang bang sauce and 21 lb of that mayonnaise sauce is a tad much. Therefore, 63 lbs of sauce is absolutely ruining the very good bun they use. It needs to be balanced. Good planning. Bad implementation. My wife’s sangria drink was 15 bucks, but was filled with Sprite. Who wants a sangria in a small 10 oz wine glass with 7 ozs of ice witj sprite. Where was the sangria? Yes I want to know too. $12 for kids meals with fries and cheese inside of a tortilla, extremely pathetic. The Generals Chicken was very good but the broccoli was tremendously sized and the chicken bites were smaller then some MandMs. Odd. And lastly and most pathetic to me is the nachos. AT $20 with no meat!!! WHATTTT. We are legitimately talking about cheese, tomatoes, and onions and the smallest scoop of guacamole that you have ever seen in your life. Smaller than the most overpriced single scoop ice cream shop guacamole scoop nachos for 20 bucks. Wow. So as explained over 100 for this is just not good value. The value is not here. I think this places hype is behind it. Sadly so. So much potential.

Discovered this place while we were on standby while our cat is in animal hospital down the road. We mentioned it to the bartenders Brian, (and Maggie or Maria?) they were so kind and took care of a round of drinks since we were clearly feeling down in the dumps. The food and drinks were fantastic but the kind and caring service really elevated our experience. We will make a trip back from our home in Newport just for this reason in the future. Thank you so much for the kindness.

Delicious food, Amazing drinks, Wonderful atmosphere and Incredible service. Had an amazing time there and the service was so good, friendly kind service, they take the time to make sure your all set even though they are crazy busy . The food is delicious. I could go on and on but I’ll just say go try it for yourself.

One of my favorite places to eat. The menu gives such a variety with allergy sensitive options. The East Greenwich location in particular has the best feel/ vibe out of the five Tavern locations I have dined at. Thanks again and see you soon!

Updating my review to reflect most recent visit….. went on a rare date night. We ordered two sides as appetizers to try two new things. The two sides were the same price as a regular app, and the portions were generous. The mac n cheese was really good! The tots were crunchy but lacked seasoning. My husband ordered general tso’s chicken, broccoli, and rice, all of which he enjoyed. I ordered the Goddess Garden Burger with house chips. I did not care for my meal as much. While the cops were crispy, they were also under seasoned. The sweet potato burger was also a miss, imo, as it was soft, under seasoned, and the feta whip had a paste like texture making for a goopy bite. The cakeless cake was tasty. While it was nice to have a night out, we will likely not be returning anytime soon.

Service was OK. Waited a long time for drinks takeout very sad order to $20 salad and photo shows. There was nothing to. It was supposed to have pickled carrots, etc. etc. had none of the above and barely anything in it.
